The Metro removal hearing case against Dan Johnson ended about the way it began. With many in disbelief.
I could not understand how the "charging committee" council members even fathomed that somehow Johnson could be removed on hearsay and hearsay alone. At the end of the day that is exactly what this boiled down to. Like it or not justice prevailed today with Johnson being allowed to keep his seat, at least until they can figure out some trumped up charge to remove him for later.

City of Meadow Vale and Mayor Hornek have some 'splaining to do
Louisville, KY - The City of Meadow Vale is a class 5 city right here in Louisville. It is one of many remaining neighborhoods after Louisville-Jefferson County merger that continue on as a small city. It now has made the main stage, politically speaking of course.
How big is Meadow Vale? Not very.
It has less than 800 total residents but it does have its own police force and now it's former Chief is suing the City of Meadow Vale, and its current Mayor Mary Hornek, for among other things, sexual harassment.
Good ole small town politics at its finest!

Louisville’s Pedophile Priests
Reprinted with permission of the author.

If one researches the terms “Louisville,” “pedophile,” and “priest” on Google, one gets more than 38 thousand hits. The enormity of this scandal and the terrible damage done to its victims—and the Catholic church as well—truly staggers the imagination. And there has certainly been a multitude of stories about this tragedy in the local press.
We have all read and watched as the disgusting details of the depredations of Louisville’s defrocked priests Daniel C. Clark and Louis Miller, and followed the multimillion dollar lawsuits on the six-o’clock news. By 2009, U.S. dioceses have paid more than 2.6 billion US dollars in abuse-related costs since 1950 to victims and their lawyers. One local lawyer even tried to sue the Vatican; a sovereign nation.
