KATIE KING: GIVE IT UP

UPDATE LINK TO RAW FOOTAGE BY HEBERT: WHAS11 - Video On Demand WHAS11.com News for Louisville, Kentucky

Katie King has even more turmoil against her now thanks to a report by Mark Hebert at WHAS11: Prosecutor Katie King accused of using vulgar words to describe her boss JUST POSTED WHAS11.com News for Louisville, Ke...

Coupled with so many other things it makes me wonder whether Katie A) Hates her Dad, Metro Council President Jim King, for making her do this or, B) if she is really that spoiled she thinks she can do anything she wants without repercussion. Either way she is in no way, shape, or form, prepared to be a judge of anyone.

In the Courier today, who recently gave Katie kudos for her work (rolling eyes), as part of the Division 16 comments from her and David Holton, Katie King said she wants to bring a level of respect back to the courts, would like a separate domestic-violence docket to be created and wants to be a proactive and innovative judge King and Holton battle in Division 16 courier-journal The Courier-Journal.

Bring a level of respect back to the courts? If they lack respect now this trainwreck called Katie King certainly would make it worse. I find it interesting her take on domestic-violence court like she is qualified to handle these type cases. Remember the 911 call when she was trying to break down her ex boyfriends door earlier this year?

Wonder how impartial she can be with her history. Do not forget the drugs found in HER HOME in 2004 that her then boyfriend got arrested for though she got preferential treatment and off the hook. She wants to be a "proactive and innovative" judge? Sounds really proactive and innovative huh?

She isn't mature enough to get to work because she has been out to late partying? She will do better being a judge with the added responsibility?

I wonder how screwed up the court system will be when they have to continually reschedule cases because she just cannot get to work after partying all night. Think it is bad now? How much money will it cost from our taxes to have to redo dockets constantly and re notify anyone and everyone who is to appear.

How many will slide through the cracks and get away with crimes because she just didn't feel like working that day to nurse a hangover.

Maturity is important here and Katie King certainly is not mature in any way based on her actions and continuing troubled behavior.

I recently heard from an anonymous source about Katie's academic performance at school. Here is a copy of what I received for your review:

"I have tried to relay this information to Jason Riley at the Courier Journal, although nothing came of it.

Katie began law school 2 years ahead of me. She was a 3L when I was just starting as a 1L. She started as a student in the Evening Division. One of the standard bread-and-butter courses law students must take and pass before graduating is Property Law, which is divided into 2 sections. The fall semester is Property I. The spring semester is Property II. Evening students take Property their 2L year.

I found it interesting that Katie did not take Property I with my group of 1Ls, yet she magically appeared and enrolled in our Property II course. As a 3L, she should have already taken and passed the class.

I recently asked a current Public Defender about this, who said that Katie had cheated and been forced to retake the class. I find that interesting because if I had cheated, I would have been expelled since my father is not a millionaire. "

If there is any way to substantiate this information, I'd love to know.

And of course as always the Courier did not follow up on this request.

Katie needs professional help to learn how to judge herself. Not be in a job that judges others.

Her dad, Metro Council President Jim King, apparently thinks we are all so gullible he can buy a Judgeship. I would think if he really cared about his family he would get Katie help not push her into this situation.

Sad really.

  1. Personally, in my own opinion, I think that people should start putting a stop to nonsense such as this by pulling their money from King Southern Bank. That sort of an action would put a quick end to fiascos such as these. I'm hardly an advocate of economic warfare since it has been visited on so many in this nation. Especially with all the job cuts, economic problems etc. But with a guy such as that, it might be what finally puts an end to that sort of nonsense that is being perpetuated on this community.

While working class and middle class people lose their shirts in this economy with job losses, people like King are laughing all the way to the bank. The ego of a person such as that is that they will do just about anything to get power over people. However, by cutting their economic lifeline and putting the hurt on their business very well could be the corrective action for this.

So if you are reading this, I think this would be time to have the people around Louisville to start going to the bank and pulling out. THere are enough other banks in the city of Louisville that would be productive and sensible places to store your financial assets.

As far as his daughter goes, I think that anyone with a smudge such as been presented by Mark Heberts fine reporting, the Courier Journal articles should give it up.

Having been even in a situation with drugs present would bring a lot of questions to me anyway because what would a future judge and law graduate be tied up in that. I'm not doing the judging of those who do, but it seems quite hypocritical to talk about drug crimes in your campaign meanwhile having that sort of environment at your home.

Also, I question why 911 has to be called to the scene if she was doing things the right way.

Is this the type of person that we want to represent on the court. I think not because a person with a questionable track record and with those influences would tend to be easier on crime. Not tougher.

It makes no sense why this young lady believes she is qualified to do this job. Furthermore, at her age she is obviously not ready and it shows. Even at my mid 30s I do not consider myself qualified for a position such as that even if my degree was in law. I believe it is a farce to put a candidate such as that into a elected position that has much power and influence over the lives of others.

Especially when one has had a connection with the drug culture yet presents herself as an anti crime and anti drug judge.

Hopefully enough Louisvillians will see what this is all about and react accordingly.

  2. By the way Ed, keep on hammering these people well after the election. I think its time for Louisvillians to wake up and speak up about the atrocities that are going on such as these.

I think that You Tube would be an excellent place to put more information out as well about conditions of the economy and corruption in Louisville

  3. Thanks for the comments folks. I can assure you of this. I made apromise when campaigning during the Mayor race of 2006 that I would help effect change that would make it better for all of us.

I reiterated that promise during the recent Council primary against the rubberstamp Henderson.

By exposing the garbage I hope to accomplish that. I will continue doing this as long as it takes.

One way or the other we will get some transparency and accountability.

    Thanks again.

    Ed

  5. Folks, its time to keep on exposing the crooks that are running this community into the ground. Lets keep this up past the election and keep talking about it. Even to the point of getting all of this on the radio. Start bringing it up to WHAS radio and all of the other radio shows. Even start doing the You Tube thing to bring up the issues. Maybe a podcast would start working against these people.

Start getting it in the comment boards on the villevoice, here, and other blogs. Even though many of us may disagree on issues, we all know that these people have a crooked and lying deceit that does not benefit the people of the city. Its time to put all of it out there and start asking why these people are allowed to get away with their nonsense. That and to vote them out on November 4th.
