KATIE KING AND JOHN FLOOD CONTINUED

Katie King reportedly LENT her campaign $194,000 during her race against David Holton according to a report by Mark Hebert at WHAS11 Katie King Lent Campaign $194.000 - WHAS11 Political Blog.

We really should be askng the question "how did Jim King lend her the money, denying it of course, and why has she not been challenged on it?"

Anyone care to take a guess?

How did Katie King, who before becoming a prosecutor, and now one of the worst experienced sitting judges in our history, come up with a personal small fortune of $194,000? She never did anything before going to work in the prosecutor's office and last I heard they did not make that much in 3 years even if she banked it all and lived off daddy.

This raises more questions then it answers and needs to be investigated.

UPDATE: JOHN FLOOD

For those who keep asking for more on John Flood's case this is the latest. He will be in court DECEMBER 15 at 9 am Courtroom number 302. At that time a plea deal will be presented. What the plea deal contains is anyone's guess, but unofficially I am told he will get 2 years probation, no jail time, and will retire immediately.

Like I didn't report this months ago.

Show up at the hearing and speak with Chip McKay before court.

  1. She sure as hell picked up a paycheck from King Southern bank for a while and never work there a day in her life, wouldn't surprise me if she still does. I don't know to many people working for the gov. for three years that can own a nice house, drive luxury SUV's and never work a day in their life, even before getting hired as an ass. attorney. Maybe if you had a signifigant other, but not on your own. It was obvious her dad had been feeding her money from the start of her campaign. Just read a report on Pageone about a newly appointed judge in Manhattan (???) that just got indited for covering up a 250, 000 'donation' to her own account and trying to hide the source by saying that it came out of her pocket. Sounds very similar. They are talking about jail time and being disbarred. What would be the likelyhood that the princess and King could see any kind of legal action against them for this like the case mentioned above? Has anything been said about the previous charges brought against her? Probably result in a fine that dad will pay, but still.

  2. can she get in any sort of trouble for this, considering the city we live in and her fathers ties? Just read a very similar report on another site, think it was Pageone, talking about a case very similar. I think that judge in NY is in some hot water and looking at jail time for throwing $250,000 in her campaign account and saying it came out of her pocket when it was given to her by her boss. What about the other ethics charges? Any word on a verdict from that? It will probably just be a fine that her dad pays, but still. Also, who knows how much her checks were for when she was deemed an 'employee' of her fathers bank and was pulling a weekly check but never showed up for that job a day in her life. Maybe she saved it up and it amounted to the 200,000 or so. When daddy pays for your house, mortgage, bills, and cars it's not hard to acummulate some change. How much does an ass. attorney usually pull anually 30-40 grand if you're 3 years in?

  3. Yes, it does need to be investigated - there is NO WAY that money was hers. I'd love to see the Kings have to open their financial books to the Attorney General.

  4. I hope the Commonwealth's Attorney grows some balls and indicts both Katie and her dad. This is a felony.

  5. It will be investigated. It is illegal if she followed the course of her daddy channeling money to her but it must be proven.

Ifg the allegations are proven true she will be held accountable.

  6. Its doubtful in this town that anything will happen to these clowns. They do things the way they want to do it. They do illegal things and get by with it. Not only that but they also violate their oaths of office and they don't get held accountable for that.

Big Daddy State Government won't do anything because this is a political football and in this state its more important who you know than what you know or how clean you are. Its a harsh statement but very true. How many of Fletcher administration are behind bars? I would guess that very few have even been tried or checked out fully.

Even with the help of the FBI, IRS, or whomever it would take a long time to clean up the dirty politics. But that doesn't mean that we as taxpayers have forgone our ability to raise a stink about it. We should and we must. We must put everything out there for the world to see.

Its been a long time coming but I think that enough people around here are starting to wake up and see how badly they have been screwed over during these last so many years. Its pretty atrocious because no one has been minding the bank or the henhouse for that matter and its about time that we all start making light of what is going on.

As far as King and his daughter go, this was a father supplied campaign. ie, Daddy will get me the money to fund the campaign. There is no way that someone making 41,000 is going to have the funds after three years of working to fund a several hundred thousand dollar political campaign without massive help from either the political establishment or her own father. Which by the way, owns King Southern Bank. My how convenient.

I think that Louisvillians should take a drive or walk or a horse down to all of the King Southern Bank branches and start withdrawing their money and rolling it away to somewhere else for safe keeping. Not only would one slay the dragon but also it would serve notice that we won't have our city hijacked by people with ulterior motives than the common good of all.

In fact, why don't we all start finding out who is behind the businesses that are doing this and start withholding our support and care. Let us see how long their corrupt and nepotism system stands on its own.

  7. It would appear that it wasn't the political establishment that got her money. She "lent" her campaign a total of roughly $244,000 combined primary and general election. She spent a total of approximately $302,000.

It was obviously a self financed campaign and daddy's hand is all over it.
