Thieneman lawsuit filed

Local developer and activist Chris Thieneman has filed a lawsuit against the City of Louisville, LMPD Officers, and County Attorney Ingrid Geiser for malicious prosecution among other things. As I have mentioned previously, I have a personal relationship with Thieneman and chose to NOT be the lead on this case to avoid any claims of impropriety or bias. I think it was the right decision......then.

With that said, in lieu of recent events at LMPD it is time to get this story out. Mainstream has refused to report on this issue, even after the CJ's Joe Gerth implied that when Thieneman  filed the suit that they would. Is anyone really surprised that they did not?

Judge Charlie Cunningham screws up the 37th State Senate District race

Louisville, KY - The 37th District Kentucky State Senate Race just got even worse. At issue is whether Republican candidate Chris Thieneman meets the residency requirement to run for the seat. In May of this year Thieneman was proven eligible by the courts and went on to win the Republican primary. I should know I filed the challenge myself.

This should have ended the issue.

It didn't thanks to the typical shenanigans of one Jennifer Moore of the Democratic Party.

METRO COUNCIL MEETS TONIGHT PRP ELECTION WILL BE DISCUSSED

Do not forget that tonight is the final Metro Council meeting of the year. Sure to be the hottest issue going is the election results for the PRP Board of trustees being thrown out by Abramson.

Mayoral candidate Chris Thieneman will be speaking to the Council tonight on this issue you should go. Seriously folks in PRP should be there to make sure they are heard. You can read more about the issue here: Louisville News and Politics: COUNCIL MEMBERS BLACKWELL, HENDERSON, WELCH, AND WOOLDRIDGE JUST SAY NO TO VOTERS IN PRP

Sadly, I cannot be there and address the Council myself. Of course I cannot be there because I have the MyViewMatters Radio Show to do tonight at 7 on WKJK 1080 am.

Make plans to attend and let your voice be heard!

CHRIS THIENEMAN TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE ON THURSDAY

Chris Thieneman is holding a press conference on Thursday morning at 10:30 am at 4th Street live. Chris you may recall sent an open records request using Kentucky Open Records Law to obtain information concerning the Cordish $950,000 sweetheart deal that had no accountability whatsoever.

Metro Council President David Tandy, Bruce Traughber, Mike Norman, and others even went to Baltimore for answers. They came back empty handed behind and used the "gee it looked okay to me" mentality.

Chris has fought the City before and won. You may recall the River Fields deal being reopened thanks to a lawsuit by Chris Thieneman that netted the City a few hundred thousand more dollars. The lawsuit led to a more fair open bidding process on River Fields thanks to Chris efforts.

Chris has threatened to sue if there were no answers on his open records request in regards to Cordish expenditures on the $950,000 Abramson gave them. This should be a doozy of a press conference.

Make plans to attend.....
