MYVIEWMATTERS, GREG FISCHER, AND MORE

MyViewMatters Radio will air tonight at 6 pm on WKJK 1080 AM as usual. The issue of our veterans is one issue that is too important not to air. Tonight's show will focus on them and the future of the VA Hospital in its present location. In studio guests will be Metro Council District 9 candidate Patrick Duerr, who is leading the way on this issue, 3rd Congressional District candidate Ed Martin, and Veteran Bob Moore.

Tune in and call in as usual at (502)571-1080 during the show.

FISCHER LEADING IN POLLS?: I find this doubtful. According to the cn/2 poll being presented by Ryan Alessi over at Insight, Fischer is leading Heiner by roughly 7 points. The problem? The poller itself Braun Research.

According to the website at Braun:

The Braun Research network of companies were founded in 1995, and combined they employ 50 full-time and over 700 part-time employees engaged in data collection via telephone and internet for various survey research firms, government and advertising agencies, foundations, universities and academic entities as well as religious organizations. In over fourteen years in business, we have conducted more than 5,000 research projects by telephone, internet and mail worldwide.

Nowhere do I see any mention of political campaign polling so their results are suspect already. Additionally there is more.

Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of C on a scale from A+ to F. Reasons for this rating include:

10 complaints filed against business.

Stick with the proven polls like Survey USA and they have Heiner and Fischer tied at 45% apiece.

SPEAKING OF FISCHER: Rumor has it he is going to hire none other than......wait for it.......Jim McGovern! McGovern is one name most are familiar with around here. If Fischer is seriously considering this hire there is no way in hell he can say he is not part of the machine.

Stay tuned........

RUMOR OF THE DAY: I was at a couple of events last night and spoke with many people, but one rumor was the talk of the night. Apparently Katie King, yep the Judge Katie King daughter of Councilman Jim King, and convicted of illegal campaign financing by the KREF, has contacted Frankfort to see if it is too late to have her last name changed on the November ballot.

You read it right. Apparently she doesn't want anyone to recognize her name or associate it with her dad based on all the shenanigans between them to get her elected. So does she now get married, change her name to an alias to avoid the association?

If so what does that say about how far she will go to get elected? Peas in a pod. I will let you know if I hear more.

Listen in tonight on WKJK 1080 AM at 6. Until next time.......
