DAVID WHITLOCK, SO WHAT DO ILLEGAL DEPUTY CONSTABLE'S DO FOR FUN?

STUPID COP TRICKS courtesy Jefferson County Constable David Whitlock.

EXCLUSIVE!! The following video is dangerous, unsafe and could very well have killed this young man. This is not a stunt for Jackass, Scare Tactics or Punk'd nor is it a stupid human trick video from Youtube. This is actual video of supposed 'Police Training' conducted by David Whitlock's Constable's Office, aka "Kentucky Constable Association".
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLICATE THIS STUNT.

David Whitlock has a long and famous fascination with video and guns. This time it might be his undoing.

They take shots at each other with no fear of consequences. The following video is of Constable David Whitlock's illegal Deputy from Shepherdsville, Mike Stephens shooting Cody Whitaker in the chest for fun. Cody is only 18 years old and not eligible to be a law enforcement officer in Kentucky until he is 21 under state law. So why is Cody participating in LIVE FIRE training exercise that under any standard is inherently dangerous, unsafe and in no way conforms to any training standards observed by any police department in the nation?

CONSTABLE WHITLOCK IS OUT OF CONTROL!!

From what I understand they took the load out of the bullet but as you can see there was still significant damage to Whitaker. But hey don't feel too bad.

Sources tell me that Whitlock actually gave Whitaker a badge at age 17 while Stephens supplied a Glock for him to carry and impersonate a police officer. Trust me there is more coming this week stay tuned!

ONLY JAIL TIME WILL STOP WHITLOCK
The truly sad part about this situation is that even if David Whitlock is arrested, indicted and convicted of yet another Felony he will remain a Constable. As an elected Constitutional Officer he must be impeached by the Kentucky House with a replacement named by the Governor. So our only hope is that the Kentucky State Police take up the investigation and shut Whitlock down for the safety of the general public.

This Tuesday please remember this situation the next time you vote. Whitlock slid through on a Democratic ticket which in this state allows for "Big Lever" ballots.

DAVID WHITLOCK: SO MANY QUESTIONS AND NO ANSWERS

JEFFERSON COUNTY (Louisville), Ky Constable Whitlock has been known for years

There have been reports on Constable David Whitlock and his associations for years, which begs the question: How in the world was this guy ever allowed to be eligible to participate in an election?

You are all familiar with the story by now. Whitlock is shopping at a Wal Mart, a supposed employee tells him he witnessed Tammy Ortiz shoplifting, and Whitlock pursues. By the way Wal Mart has stated that Whitlock IS NOT an employee of their store.

That basically is the gist of where this all started. Ortiz attorney John M. Doyle says there is more to the story. He says Ortiz did not steal anything, had Wal Mart bags and her purse on her when a stranger at the door tried to grab her stuff.

Enter Whitlock who proceeds based on hearsay, not witnessing anything himself, to try and force Ortiz out of her car resulting in her trying to speed away, so he then opens fire.

Pretty good summary except that even isn't the beginning of the story.

History of David Whitlock

Louisville News of course outed the history of Whitlock leading up to these shootings yesterday. Complete with details of prior ADMITTED criminal behavior by Whitlock himself. The Ed Springston Show aired an episode last night detailing these events and joined by the original Detective, Robert Chapman, investigating Whitlock http://springston.blogspot.com/2011/11/david-whitlock-felony-indictments-and.html.

A history of theft with basically everyone we know about him working for at the time to now this. According to a WHAS 11 story from 2009 Whitlock is described even then as a wannabe by Lt. Col. Carl Yates of LMPD. http://www.whas11.com/news/local/64157882.html

He has for years tried to force legitimate law offices to provide him with free services and credibility. None will. The Sheriff's Office and LMPD have refused to allow Whitlock access to their radio channels or use of the county's e-warrant system, despite Whitlock's protests.

"I don't think any professional law enforcement agency is going to perpetuate something we feel is unprofessional. So we are not going to cooperate," explains Lt. Col. Yates.

Because the county received complaints about Whitlock's aggressive enforcement, the Metro Council took away his right to use blue lights and sirens.

Yet in a video news report showing Whitlock's car, he clearly has blue lights, of the visor kind, in his car even now. They were turned on during the interview.

Some of his current and former leaders on his self made "staff" include Brent Choates. A convicted felon convicted of stealing approximately $10,000 of satellite equipment from the National Guard. In 2009 during the WHAS 11 investigation Choates was listed as Detective Sergeant of the Internal Affairs Division and is even a state director of the Kentucky Constable's Association, an organization in which Whitlock serves as executive director.

Whitlock claims to know the law in regards to his duties yet self Deputized a convicted felon?

From his own list of duties at his website:

A person convicted of or under indictment for a crime involving moral turpitude is also ineligible for the position of deputy (KRS 61.300). Constables are liable for all acts and omissions of their deputies and may remove them by filing a written direction with the county judge/executive or by the mayor in a consolidated local government (KRS 70.320).

Seriously.

A mirage to promote self importance

The Kentucky Constable Association is by and large part of the Whitlock effort to create an image of self importance. The address goes straight to his office, he is Executive Director, and Mike Stephens, his so called Deputy Lt Colonel, is Professional Standards Director.

Professional Standards Director? There will be more on this in a later article.

And yet LMPD actually is scared to go against this guy and this organization. By using poor statements of he drew his "service weapon," it was not an issued service weapon of any kind it was his personal one, while explaining events on the tv news coverage, they make it appear he is legit and this is a normal police investigation into one of their own.

Is this the best LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell can do? Seriously?

In 2007 WAVE3 had a report on Whitlock that included this http://www.wave3.com/story/15938927/accused-shoplifter-shot-by-constable:

In January of 2007, we talked with Whitlock when serious questions came up in Metro Council about his work.

Whitlock was carrying a gun, pulling people over for traffic violations, was driving a car with flashing lights, and hiring deputies.

All of that was considered unusual for Constables in the Metro, and with little formal training in law enforcement.

Think about it

For those few friends he has shown how to use the internet and are now trying to defend him, I must say to the law abiding citizens of our City. In my opinion Whitlock should be charged. Period.

He was not an identified officer of the law, he did not witness ANY shoplifting whatsoever, admits he was not "on duty" at the time, and went after Tammy Ortiz based on hearsay from someone else.

There can be no question of this at all. The record is clear.

He violated every legitimate protocol from any official police officer who has been trained in law enforcement. David Whitlock has never received that official training. Failing at that as he has done in so many other ways.

With that mindset should every police officer just randomly attack people because someone said they did something? With that logic, perhaps I should just walk up to any officer anywhere and tell them I just saw someone do something and send them on their way.

No that is not the way our system of Government works. Thank God.

The way I see it the only justice in this situation would be the removal by impeachment of David Whitlock and perhaps finally send him to jail where he should have already been.

See you next time.

"LOOSE CANNON," THIEF, AND CONSTABLE DAVID WHITLOCK FINALLY SHOOTS SOMEONE

Constable David Whitlock shoots unarmed woman

Jefferson County Constable David Whitlock shot an alleged shoplifter at Wal Mart in Riverport Wednesday afternoon. According to reports, the suspected shoplifter was shot in the arm and hand by Whitlock when, after attempting to drive away, she allegedly ran over his foot.

Whitlock then used this as justification for pulling his own personal weapon and firing at her striking her arm and hand. Early reports say she will be fine, but how is it that someone with Whitlock's history is an elected Constable and assumes this authority?.

Why is David Whitlock not in jail

Whitlock himself is no stranger to illegal behavior having been arrested for theft in 2000 after being found in possession of stolen computer equipment. He also entered an Alford plea in 2002 in another theft case against him. This case led to a diversion program and ultimately an expungement of the record thus enabling him to qualify to run for office.

The office of Constable is one many feel we should do away with in the Constitution. I happen to agree. Constables are elected under the state Constitution and allows some arrest powers, such as enforcing traffic laws and serving warrants.

It does not give them full police powers as Whitlock apparently likes to think it does.

Whitlock's history of theft is one that boggles the mind of most of us. Why is he not in jail himself?

In January 2000 Whitlock admitted under questioning to stealing medical supplies from his then employer Yellow ambulance service. He stated he was using those supplies on behalf of Dixie Suburban Fire department.

By his own estimate he stole, or was connected to the theft of, approximately $1500-$2000 worth of supplies.

During the same interview Whitlock admitted stealing a radio battery charger from yet another substation in New Albany, admitted in February 2000 to stealing eight video monitors from his previous employer Sonic, a theft involved other items including Security equipment and cameras.

During the search of Whitlock's car he also was found in possession of firefighter id tags from other firefighters. He was even found to have a Ky Uniform Citation Book in 2000.

Personal handcuffs, mag light charger, arson investigator shirt, unidentified pills, satellite receiver.

This is just some of the stuff that was confiscated during the period of 1999-2000. Brand new intercom, Louisville search and rescue iron ons, and official uniforms to mimic different departments. Shively Police department, and LPD.

Abusing authority

At one point Whitlock went so far as to name swear in Deputies to help him in his job. No this is not a joke. Though these "Deputies" were of course unpaid and unconstitutional according to the Judge who revoked the powers of his sworn Deputies. Many feel this was a way of rewarding his friends, who had histories of their own, so they could abuse the citizens as well. One more example of overreaching in his abuse of authority. Birds of a feather.

Whitlock has been described as someone who has an egotistical attitude who overstates his abilities. This of course would fall in line with many stories of abuse by Whitlock. There have been stories circulating for a long time now about how Whitlock abuses his assumed authority.

Everything from "patrolling" in uniform, one that he purchased himself on his $100 per month Constable salary, pulling people over without authority or cause, and acting as if he has full police powers (he does not). Harrassing others who he disagrees with, and rumors of pulling over defenseless women for "other" reasons.

This is the norm for what most in SW Jefferson County know of David Whitlock.

Insurance scam

Whitlock has even admitted to filing false insurance reports after lying about stolen radios. Radios he himself had and lied about being stolen.

How could Whitlock still be free

That is the question of the day. Just who is Whitlock related to that could have saved him and allowed us to be in the position of having this embarrassment elected to anything?

Does Whitlock have ties to the LPD? His Uncle is/was a cop there. He also used an Aunt's printing company to make up "official looking" labels for his car to appear he was legit.

Perhaps District 14 Councilman Bob Henderson who supported Whitlock for Constable? Henderson knew about these problems with Whitlock. It has always been an open situation in Dixie area.

Why then would he knowingly endorse Whitlock? There have been questions for years about Dixie Suburban Fire Department and Henderson's involvement with them. Those questions will now become center stage.

Finally

David Whitlock is the last person who should ever be in any position of authority. Elected or otherwise. A primary job of security for a Wal Mart store does not qualify one to be let loose on citizens with a personal gun over a possible shoplifting charge.

We now have to do the investigation into Councilman Henderson and other alleged family members who may be with LMPD.

Many have referred to Whitlock as a "loose cannon." LMPD has known about and been worried about just such a situation involving this loose cannon for years. Unfortunately, they now will deal with the fallout either way.

Whitlock should have been in jail and never in a position to run for elected office. With an admitted history of stealing from every employer he has worked with, he should never have been free.

They say it takes a thief to catch a thief.

Whitlock certainly qualifies for that phrase.

But does it take a thief to shoot a thief?

Let's hope criminal charges are finally brought against David Whitlock and find out.

OCCUPY WALL STREET: IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FOLKS

You know I am a bit behind on actually writing about this story. Though we have covered it extensively on "The Ed Springston Show" actual writing time has been limited so here you go.

Is OCCUPY WALL STREET relevant? In many eyes, mine included, not necessarily so.

Though I have always advocated, and continue to do so, that people need to take to the streets in protest, the whole occupy wall street movement just does not seem to fit with any perceived agendas. There appear to be NO demands and NO direction. It seems that people are protesting just to be protesting with no thought to an eventual outcome.

If you are going to protest then have an agenda or an end result in mind.

It seems on the surface that this group is an ultra left wing attempt to match the TEA party success but it is doubtful they can get close.

Why would I say that?

For starters there has been an "unofficial" list of demands that have been accredited to a single individual which I find suspect to begin with. Though I am no fan of mainstream media in general, even mainstream would not blame an entire movement on the ramblings of a singular individual. Not in a mass protest of this size anyway.

OCCUPY WALL STREET demands "unofficially?"

Check out a few here:

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

The list itself of this unofficial demands is actually found on the occupy wall street website at www.occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-for-occupy-wall-st-moveme/

So why would they even list this if they didn't want someone to infer that they may be behind these demands?

Who knows but we do have to face reality here at some point. This list of "possible" demands just is not realistic.

Suppose America itself banded together and gave in to just the above demands. Would we better off? Of course not because it is fundamentally flawed.

Free education? Great I'm for it, but how will it get paid for? Taxes? So how much do you want to pay out of your income to provide for a free college education when we have done such a pathetic job of our lower education possibilities.

What is the value of a degree currently, when so many cannot even find a job within their career field. How much more value would that degree have if everyone had one.

Living wage? No problem.

Define living wage and what amount would be considered a living wage. If you base it on today's economy that number would be less than one in a different economy where everyone was making the same amount per hour.

Say you make it $15 an hour. Sounds good when you make $8 or $9 today right? But what happens when you raise the wages across the board to an equal level?

Trickle down economics come into play.

As an employer when your costs go up so does the price for your goods, or services accordingly. Those costs have to be paid for by someone. Contrary to popular belief, the regular small business guys that are the backbone of our Nation's employers simply do not work on a profit margin that would allow them to pay without increasing the price of goods or services.

I have to be honest here as well. Guaranteeing someone a "living wage" for working the counter at a Thornton's, or asking if you want fries with that at McDonald's, just doesn't seem appealing to me.

Those type jobs were always designed to be starter jobs. You want more money go work for it. Make yourself marketable. It really is that simple. To think that anyone should be guartanteed the same as everyone in an economical sense is absurd. There will always be givers and taker sin this world. It is human nature. I am not going to give to someone who doesn't want to attempt to earn it. That is a major problem today with this type of mindset.

I am as angry as anyone at Wall street. They are the greedy pigs that are destroying this Country.

But I don't blame them or the Corporations.
I blame our elected leaders. Our President. Our Congress.

We elected them to represent our interests and they have failed miserably. We can put a name and a face on each and every one of them and know who to blame for our problems today.

The corporations themselves are a nameless, faceless entity. You want to make a difference? Quit being the ultra left wing liberals who continue wanting something for nothing. Quit playing the victim card and band together. Fight against those who have made us a welfare dependent nation. Both corporate and individual.

Start with each and every incumbent in Washington.

I am reminded of an old joke. What do you call 100 Louisville Lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start.

I would change that to say, what do you call 100 incumbent politicians at the bottom of the ocean?

Get the picture?

MSD AND ETHICS:TROUBLE BREWING

For years now I have been writing about MSD problems, debt, and how they are going to ruin Louisville accordingly. Finally, it looked as though we might be on the brink of getting some sunshine with MSD and maybe some way to hold them accountable ala Judy Green and the ethics commission.

I may be wrong.

On the surface the ethics commission is saying the right things about MSD. Read more here http://blogs.courier-journal.com/watchdogearth/2011/09/16/ethics-panel-msd-talking/

"Call me suspicious, but I think they want us to do the grunt work and provide an opinion - and they’ll cherry-pick what they want to keep," said commission member Gus "Skip" Daleure. "I don’t want this commission to be used."

But there are many questions coming to light such as why Deborah Kent was given a $50,000 no bid contract to sit as counsel for the ethics commission.

While I believe the ethics commission did an excellent job with the Judy Green scandal I also believe that they now must make sure they pass muster as well.

Why is this contract a problem now?

Simply because Ms. Kent was an attorney for Larry Zielke for 3 years AND an attorney for MSD for six years. Should she be involved in any way, shape, or form with anything ethical or otherwise regarding MSD? I think not and so do most folks I have spoken with.

How can the ethics commission judge anyone from an ethical standpoint when their attorney is compromised?

And that's the rub. Much more will be coming out about Deborah Kent very soon I assure you but for now pay close attention to this developing story and call your Councilpersons to ensure we don't make a laughingstock out of our ethics commission after they have done such credible work to date.

Until next time folks......

IT'S OFFICIAL: JUDY GREEN OUSTED FROM METRO COUNCIL SEAT

Judy Green was ousted from the Council after a unanimous vote

Shortly after 6:30 PM the Metro Court reconvened after deliberating for more than an hour and a half. Their conclusion? Judy Green was ousted from the Council after a unanimous vote on both counts against her. The first by Ray Barker in regards to the Green Clean Team, and the second by yours truly for my charges against her in regards to the 100 Black Men organization.

Citizens of Louisville Metro and Jefferson County, Kentucky... You are welcome.

I don't say that because of some perverse need to self gratify myself. No I say that because this case was absolutely necessary and literally thousands of Louisvillians got to see justice finally being done.

With the conclusion of this portion of the case (and believe me there will be more I am sure) one wonders what we can look forward to now that we have precedent set first by citizen involvement, secondly, the ethics commission, and finally the Metro Council.

Let no one think by a long shot this is over. It has only just begun.

For starters, after Green tried to act like she was some concerned Council member with her stunt last week of resigning, (yes it was a stunt or she could have done it 6 months ago), do not forget. Former Metro Council member Judy Green still has a pending appeal with the ethics commission. Her defense is STILL being paid for by your tax dollars though she stated when she resigned she was doing so in part to save the taxpayer expense. Right.

It will be interesting to see if she tries to appeal the Council Court findings since she would have to pay for that defense out of her own pocket.

As much as we learned during testimony over the last two days we now have even more questions, and potential charges, against some of those involved.

One of which is Charles Alexander, her former campaign treasurer and treasurer of the 100 Black Men or?. The most logical question is who committed perjury under oath?

Was it Melody Hill who testified under oath that Green talked with Alexander and convinced him to do the grant this way, or was it Charles Alexander who claimed he only worked with Hill on this even after admitting he was a friend of Judy's for over 28 years.

Even Rick Blackwell who I am always critical of did not miss that one.

Of course Alexander talked with Green and worked their stories out. Why would he not ask his friend of 28 years if this was ok if he had reservations? To think otherwise defies common sense.

So that is one avenue I will be pursuing. Perjury charges.

Another aspect that raises questions is the testimony of Clarence Yancey. Why is it that every witness was questioned ad nauseum by the Louisville Metro Council Court, and Yancey received a free pass. There are pics of Yancey at events with a Green T shirt on, Yancey distributes flyers with endorsements on it every election, and yet no one dared ask him about any of this.

Overkill?

Perhaps, but Green presented the need for overkill based on her actions over the last several months and this was one avenue to make sure everyone knew how things really work in elections and was a missed opportunity. This could have helped lay out the game for everyone so we don't revisit this later. Many questions on that one for sure.

The best thing about all of this was that we now have a precedent and a path to sunshine. This does not bode well for some other Metro Council members in the future. I can assure you that at least one, perhaps two, Council members will now have charges brought against them and this case sets precedent for the outcome.

This is one more reason why this case needed to move forward as it did.

The Judy Green precedent was a test for the Metro Council, and a test for "We the people". We set the stage for the future accountability we will now demand from Louisville Metro Government.

Judy Green made a mockery of her reign as an elected official and a mockery of the system itself.

She has tried everyting she could to avoid responsibility for her actions, even lying to the people she purported to represent. The folks in District 1 should be ashamed of her, not rallying for her.

The Rev's who decided to get into State affairs from the pulpit should lose their tax exempt status and any other perk they get from the Government. That will give us a true test of separation of church and state, but doubtful it will happen.

For some Council members this was a warning, for others it was the first shot across the bow as now some will be working OT to protect themselves from future charges. Some in the South end need to be very wary of the ongoing investigations that began before this started.

Some will be losing their jobs or resigning for various other reasons, insert excuse here: health, family, etc. The real reson is they don't want to deal with what Green just had to. Judy taught them the value of overestimating their importance.

I am very proud of the way this hearing was conducted openly.

Many props to Councilman Downard for the way he handled this whole thing. What could have become a circus stayed far away from being one. Councilman Downard ran a great 1st Metro Court and set the standard for others who may be in his position to follow.

In the meantime for today, I am very happy with the Council overall for having the fortitude to realize that since Green decided to play this as a publicity stunt we had to move forward with the entire process to ensure we the people knew the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help us God.

Pay close attention Reverend Elliott. You decided to play in this game and assured that the "Supreme Power" is the only one who would judge Judy Green has now done so.

HE did so by proxy through the Metro Council Court.......

JUDY GREEN RESIGNS FROM METRO COUNCIL

As I have stated over and over Green would resign at the last minute.
I even told you last night on my radio show. Is anyone surprised? Certainly not me. What can be said about Green that hasn't already been covered in this whole fiasco.

Of course she also used the predictable "health reasons", and spending more time with her family, as I also said she would months ago. Funnily enough she even mentioned wanting to save the taxpayers money.

That was the most laughable part of all. She has already wasted over six figures of our money defending herself on our dime. To think with her history she actually believes anyone thinks she is worried about saving our money is absurd.

I will give her an easy out though because I am such a nice guy.

Judy Green if you are worried about saving our tax dollars then drop the appeal.
We, the taxpayer, are paying for your attorneys in Wicker and Reid from the ethics findings.

This resignation, though predictable, will surely leave a lot of questions unanswered and justice will still be denied to an extent.

For example, even if the Council Court continues with the hearings on Monday, does anyone honestly think it will be a full blown hearing that will include testimony from Andrea Jackson or Melody Hill? Both need to be heard under oath to see the real scam that is/was Judy Green.

Doubtful we will get there though now.

Will Dave Stengel finally do his job and bring criminal charges against Green for her criminal behavior without a full accounting from the Council court?

The answer is no. This protects his office as well.

So who finally got Green to resign and what was the deal?
I am not sure if any deal was made but Green literally had no defense. She had no records and no witnesses to vindicate her side of the story and quite frankly the only defense she could use was the same one Wicker tried at the ethics commission.

The old I am a good person and it was everyone else's fault defense.

Which of course means she had no defense at all. So why bother with spending more of our tax money on appeals. Because that is Judy Green and she doesn't care as long as it isn't her money.

If Judy cared one bit about we the taxpayers she would have finished this long ago. If she cared today she would stop spending our money immediately.

Sadly she just never got that. Even sadder still is the fact that this fiasco will go on until she does.

So for now goodbye Councilwoman Judy Green and good riddance.

At least until we have to deal with part 2............

Metro Council member pays ad bill before taxes

JUDY GREEN CAN PAY FOR RADIO SHOW BUT CAN'T PAY $400,000 OF OUR TAX MONEY BACK...
There is now a new twist to the Judy Green saga one which was predictable but very fishy at best. It appears Green now is in line for a 30 minute radio show at WLOU-AM. No big surprise as this station with their 10 listeners has been trying to help Green all along the way. You can read the story here: http://www.wfpl.org/2011/07/01/embattled-councilwoman-to-host-radio-show/

The real story is why in the world would she do this now?

I love the spin from WFPL's Program director Bill Price who says "Green is paying for the show through her dentistry office, and had been negotiating a deal with the station for the past several months."

And pigs fly.

Seriously?

For starters let's recap a few things. Green cannot pay back her student loans totaling over $370,000. She lied and said she had a letter telling her she did not have to.

In a telephone interview, Stephanie Collins, spokeswoman for U.S. Attorney David Hale’s office, said the federal government is hopeful the IRS will receive payment for the back taxes. The student loan debt, however, could be harder to collect due to a statute of limitations that leaves little legal recourse to recoup the money. http://leoweekly.com/news/it%E2%80%99s-not-easy-being-green

This of course is another lie that involves the U.S. Attorney's office, whether intentional or unknowing, I cannot say. I wouldn't know the level of training in that office. However, according to research on the matter by yours truly there is no statute of limitations on federal student loan paybacks.

Check this one out:

Section 484A(a) of the Higher Education Action provides that no statute of limitations bars enforcement action to collect Federal student loans, including collection by offset, lawsuit, or enforcement on student loan judgments. 20 U.S.C. § 1091a(a).

State law that would otherwise limit these actions is superseded by Federal law and cannot bar collection action.

So much for that theory.

Then of course our tax money is paying for her defense. If she can afford to pay for a radio show, could she not save the taxpayers money and pay for her own defense? It is logical after all right?

Of course not.

Additionally, we must ask why she still owes an IRS lien (again our money) of over $55,000 since 1998, and cannot pay that either.

Of course WLOU's Price has this to say as well, "The show will include Green interviewing guests, discussing local issues and giving out awards to people who are active in the district. However, Price has discouraged the beleaguered lawmaker from discussing her brewing ethics scandal or upcoming removal trial."

Notice everything is District related? This of course is nothing more than an attempt to sway the proceedings before her and get the community to believe she is a stalwart person. I also don't see any language that prevents Green from discussing her case. If she is paying for her own show then WLOU has no way to prevent her from discussing it. Free speech you know?

It isn't going to work. Most of the people within her District, and the community at large, can see a criminal at work. Judy Green is one. Call it my opinion, call it what you will, but the facts of her fallacies are before us.

Want proof? Green, with the aid of Denise Bentley, has been trying to have these In support of Judy Green public happenings and no one shows up. Well except the 10 so called ministers who wouldn't know God or righteousness if HE himself showed up before them.

I have even more questions, big surprise right?

According to WFPL Green is paying for her air time. With what? If she is paying for her air time then we now have conclusive proof she has disposable income to pay back her federal debt (our tax money). Wonder how many kids that would enable to get help for school that are deserving of it?

And Green cares about the kids? Please.

If WLOU is giving her free air time then they are lying as well. Who is paying for the show? It certainly is not her dentistry office. Ask Gus Goldsmith how much dental furniture she has left. Rumors abound about that one.

WLOU has been biased in this case since the beginning. Never was that more clear than 2 weeks ago when they had Ray Barker on air. I was there, though I was barred from even sitting in the studio by DeVon Holt, with Ray as Ray had requested. It was an insult to any intelligent human being how this bias was carried out. Even when the show had run out of time they extended it to take listener phone calls.

Sounds great right? Let the listeners weigh in with their opinions? Only problem was no listener was allowed to. Even though the phone lines were full they only aired one listener.

Guess who miraculously got through first?

Judy Green's disbarred lawyer husband James Green who proceeded to threaten Barker on air. The same guy who got a $100,000 forgivable loan from his wife and the Council. The same guy who faced disbarment for theft. Thank Jerry Abramson for the loan as well.

No the people of District 1 know the truth. They, like myself and the rest of the community, know better than to trust a crook and are ashamed of Green. The majority are anyway. The ones who receive personal benefit from Green's illegal dealings only benefit if she stays in office so their responses are predictable.

Sadly, County Attorney Mike O'Connell, has proven to be inept, corrupt, or just plain dumb, and clealry cannot do his job. In this case Commonwealth Attorney Dave Stengel has proven to be the same. In my opinion anyway. Both of these guys should be under federal investigation. To me anyway.

I wonder what happens when we put other elected officials on the fence. Attorney General Jack Conway, Congressman John Yarmuth, Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul. Since Green has abused our federal tax money they should have a say in this. Ask them a simple question.

Where are they?

Since this involves our tax money and federal funds (student loans) their answers should be interesting....

METRO's GREEN MEETING THAT WASN'T AND MORE.......

The Green debacle keeps getting funnier. As I reported last time Green has decided rather than face the charges of ethical violations with the public she chooses to play the race card. She even has her own daughter Jessica, who works with the Commonwealth's Attorney office on our tax dime, play the card for her The Greens Continue To Ridiculously Cry Racism
That should be a problem for us all. Someone working on the public dime spewing racism.
And it gets worse. After denying a meeting with some "Pastors" that happened last week then of course a "debate" was scheduled by American Slave, Inc, make of the name what you will, between Ray Barker and Judy Green, neither showed up.

After reportedly being involved in setting this up, or agreeing to appear, thanks to public involvement Green opted not to and says now her husband James will speak for her in the future. As for Barker? He didn't show either. Though he wanted to he listened to advice from others who told him the truth.

This was nothing more than an attempt to divide the community at his expense so the Green camp could claim this was all politics thus dividing the community further rather than own up to her ethical violations. Good move for Ray for not being scammed into it.

At the meeting from reports I have been given, Mattie Jones, we remember her don't we, tried to defend Green against the charges and claimed that every child that participated in the Green Clean team got paid. Of course that didn't sit well as reportedly at least one parent stood up and reported their child was not paid.

After initially ignoring the comment, Jones finally relented and said well mistakes were made and tried to justify Judy Green once again.

Finally Dereck Barber of American Slave, Inc interviewed with FOX41 you can see it here
Judy Green's district ponders what's next - FOX41.com Louisville News Kentucky Indiana News Weather Sports.

Of course there is the usual from wannabe divisionist Mattie Jones "There are certain things we're not satisfied with in the process, and we're here to see if others feel like we feel,"

The process is fine Mattie Jones. Your intent to continue defying logic in favor of slanting for your own gain is not.

Interesting to note that once again the charges themselves are being ignored. Barber even comments:

"Some people feel Mr. Ray Barker threw her under the bus, other people feel it was necessary," said organizer Dereck Barber. "We need to hash those issues out amongst our people, and figure out where we collectively stand."

This is exactly what is wrong with Green and her supporters in the District.

Our people? Those like Barber and Green need a reminder that "our people" are collectively ALL of the tax paying citizens of Louisville that Green represents in addition to her District. The money that she spends is not hers it is OURS.
Last I saw that money came from each of us black and white. Everyone uses it regardless of skin color. And for that reason alone we deserve accountability for our monies spent.

If I give my child a $20 bill to go to the store and get a can of green beans for dinner, would I not expect a receipt and change? I certainly expect an accounting of that money. It really is that simple a concept.

The fact that those such as Judy Green feel entitled to my money without that simple understanding shows the intent of the person regardless of their skin color.

For those like Barber and Jones who continually keep the African American community divided for their over inflated self serving interest and ego should be an insult to ALL of us who demand accountability from our elected leaders regardless of race.

The real insult is the fact that we continue to allow these narrow minded racist individuals a forum to pursue such a narrow agenda such as racism.

It is time to move away from this mindset that holds us back from being what we as a community can be and begin moving forward towards the community most of the good citizens want us to be. A community that embraces all without regard to skin color. A community that demands accountability from each of our elected members towards that endeavor.

That really isn't such a hard concept to get to in the 21st century, is it?

2010: THE YEAR IN REVIEW

First of all Happy New Year to each and every one of you! 2011 will bring many changes for each of us, though apparently not in Louisville looking at Greg Fischer's staffing. With that being said, however, a New Year always finds us looking forward to better things and here at Louisville News and Politics we look forward as well.

I have always been a firm believer in history. An old saying says that if you fail to learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. I agree with this so with that in mind let's recap 2010 here at LNP and outline what we hope to accomplish in 2011.

First of all as you know we have been first on many stories with some beginning in 2009 and some continuing on today.

Here at Louisville News we not only report news but we also get involved in trying to make positive changes. Here are some of the things we accomplished this year.

For starters we launched the popular radio show "MyViewMatters Radio" with partner Ed Martin. Though the show is on temporary hiatus currently, while we work on funding to switch to a daily format, we found out that there are literally thousands who are tired of business as usual and seeking a voice. We provided that voice for over a year and will do so again in 2011.

We launched the campaign against the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and were instrumental in getting SB 64 passed.

We led the way in trying to bring leadership into focusing on food safety. Many of you were amazed at just how far behind the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the USA in general is when it comes to testing measures. Over 76 MILLION people get sick each year from food illnesses and 5,000 die annually. Local expert and tester Paul Ham made a compelling case on the MyViewMatters Radio Show.

We led the way in fighting for SB53, the semi open primary bill. Though the bill passed through the Senate easily our illustrious Democratic House refused to bring it to the floor. This fight made National news as CNN came in to do a story focusing on the plight of Independents being heard, led by Independent Ky's own Michael Lewis, and made a mockery of KY thanks to Senator Juliann Carroll's asinine comments.

This will be brought up again and we will fight once again to make sure all voices are heard in the Commonwealth.

We led the fight and will continue again in 2011 towards saving our charities with SB 222, a charitable gaming bill. Despite the lies and deception by KEEP's people in Brereton Jones and Patrick Neely rest assured we will continue fighting to protect those least able to help themselves.

We brought about the plight of Eric Garrett a whistleblower who was fired by Metro Government after using the Metro tipline. Of course Garrett was reinstated after his lawsuit, that continues on today, and paid backpay of course.

We were instrumental, and continue to be, in outing the fallacies of MSD. This story is one that gets national attention and will continue to be a thorn in our side left to fight for some time to come. Rest assured we aren't letting it die.

We worked with outside groups as well such as STOP IT leader Ray Pierce, and Operations Manager Paul Holliger in bringing the independent tipline online so no one would have to go through what Eric Garret has.

LNP, and MyViewMatters Radio has given a voice to anyone who sought it. We had literally every candidate for office on air that requested it. The list is long and includes everyone from Senator elect Rand Paul, Lt Gov. Dan Mongiardo, to local voices such as Jackie Green and Denise Bentley among others
.

We have given voice to all Democrats, Republicans, Independents. You name it we covered it.

Governor's race? Yep ask Gatewood we had the announcement live on air.
We have fought for inclusiveness such as those with the Fairness Campaign and Chris Hartman.

We covered National news such as the Arizona illegal immigrant stories and Obama-care.
Yep we covered the heartbreaking BP story as well.

We even fought against the asinine ORBP project and tolls. that fight will continue for some time as well I assure you.

We have called out political corruption at every level and even took on candidates. Jack Conway, Greg Fischer to name a couple. Lest I be told I am attacking democrats and not being fair remember the Todd Lally stories as well.

Kentucky's Passport scandal? Yep we had it here and Senator Julie Denton needs to go by the way.

Jerry Abramson? We outed the poorer, blacker, older comments that mainstream used. Most without any credit given. We have held this Mayor under the microscope more than any mainstream outlet has ever done.

We have outed the corruption in Louisville Metro Council members as well. Just ask Judy Green, Bob Henderson, and others

Bottom line? LNP reports the news, investigates, and even gets involved in the solutions. Whether that be outing corruption, fighting in Frankfort, or filing lawsuits our mission has been clear form day one. We will work to end corruption and bring integrity back into our lives through our elected officials.

Where others follow and gripe, we lead and get results. That is what separates us from the rest and what makes this venture so great.

What to expect in 2011?

Quite a bit. For starters we are now going to focus a bit on upgrading equipment and raising revenue. After funding this venture for 5 years solo to move forward requires funding whether through donations or investors. While I know times are tough, I'm a blue collar guy myself, there simply can be no other way. We have proven we are the best and now we need to move forward so we can get even more in depth and uncover even more.

While I have been beating up anyone who dares suggest I actually start seeking outside money, unfortunately we are growing faster than I can work hours to pay for it. 100+ hours a week is enough.

In the works are upgraded computer equipment, including a new laptop, better servicing for you the reader, and investors to bring the MyViewMatters Radio Show into a daily format. We are also looking at video equipment and some other things to bring you more video as well. We have already agreed on a contractual price with Clear Channel that is favorable and have lined up some exciting shows for 2011 once this is accomplished.

Our long range plans for 2011 include consolidating the MVM Media Group. The group will house all our ventures including the MyViewMatters Radio Show, Louisville News and Politics, and a local TV show that is in the works.

All I can say is thank you to each and every one of you for helping make us who we are. Without each of you getting involved we would literally be nothing. It is your dedication that makes any of this possible. Challenging me to do more, and each of you seeking the truth, has been a great thing.

Though the 100+ hour work weeks get crazy sometimes never have I had one regret.

My allegiance to each of you is 100% and I am very grateful for the trust you have in me.

Get ready for 2011 folks it will be a doozy.

Happy New Year one and all!

9/11 Twenty-One Years later....

This will not be the post you expect from the headline. Fair warning..... Most remember the events of 9/11. How anyone could forget I have n...
