West Side Communities Left Behind for Seven Years

Reprinted with permission of  www.ilocalnews.com/louisville

August 19, 2018 - 3:04pm

The failure of Mayor Gregory Fischer to achieve his 2011 “three pillars” of governance has produced a greater divide between the people of west, east and south Louisville. Failed Mayor Gregory Fischer promised to “create well-paying jobs, improve education” and build a “more compassionate city” in his first inaugural address to the people of Louisville. These broken promises of the Mayor’s past seven years of failed governance hits West Louisville the hardest.

West Louisville leaders Metro Councilman David James and Reverend Kevin Cosby, in 2012 developed a plan with Ford Motor Company, UPS and local union representatives to build a “world-class workforce education and training facility” in West Louisville, according to news reports. Mayor Gregory Fischer apparently jumped on the bandwagon and offered to host a work group for the initiative. The workforce education and training initiative provided the perfect opportunity for the Mayor to achieve the first of his three commitments to the people of Louisville.

A world-class workforce education and training facility can have a “huge social and economic impact” on a community, according to businessfacilities.com. The news story indicates a highly skilled workforce can be “the most important ingredient to strengthen economies and ensure a high quality of life.” News reports indicate the work group identified an ideal site for the workforce education and training facility to be built adjacent to both Simmons College and a satellite JCTC workforce training center in West Louisville. Unfortunately, failed Mayor Gregory Fischer abandoned the initiative, the facility was never built and the “well-paying jobs” have never materialized in West Louisville.

The second unfulfilled promise of “improved education” awarded the west side of Louisville four out of the top five “worst performing public schools in the United States,“ for the 2016-2017 school year (neighborhoodscout.com). Mayor Gregory Fischer’s report card grade on public education the past seven years is an “F” for failure. The worst performing schools in the United States by rank are 1) Maupin Elementary; 2) Roosevelt Perry Elementary; 4) Frayser Elementary; and, 5) Wheatley Elementary. None of the elementary schools located on the east side or south side of town appear to have made the list of the country’s worst performing public schools. How can there be such disparity between our public elementary schools if they employ the same teaching programs and education standards across the city?

Failed Mayor Gregory Fischer’s appalling performance record on education in West Louisville public schools is shameful! Sadly, the young students attending Maupin, Roosevelt Perry, Frayser and Wheatley elementary schools are paying the price of the Mayor’s failed commitment to “improve education.” The parents and grandparents of these public school students should demand answers to probing questions and call for an investigation into Mayor Gregory Fischer’s public education program in our West Louisville communities.

Our West Louisville communities also appear to have significantly more violent crime activity than any other part of town, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department crime map. The news reports of Louisville being one of the most dangerous cities in the country is really talking about the violent criminal activities in our communities of West Louisville. What has failed Mayor Gregory Fischer, our top public safety officer, been doing the past seven years to encourage criminal activity in the west side of Louisville? How can the people of Louisville become “more compassionate” with such a disgraceful governance record?

Wake up West Louisville! Enough is enough! We the people of the neighborhood communities in West Louisville need a rallying cry and strong Mayoral candidate who will challenge failed Mayor Gregory Fischer and make a difference for everyone in Louisville, not just the privileged few. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, we must take charge and drive change to improve our public schools and advance our quality of life! We must demand answers and progress from our elected public servants. We can do better!

FBI and SEC tainted by Obama admin

For months now we have been hearing about disgraced FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Their illegal attempts to cover up information against Hillary Clinton, their working to undermine a Presidential election on her behalf, and so much more. It seems this all goes even deeper and I outlined a lot of the political abuse within the SEC long ago in another case.

This case is no different.

JAY MORGAN v. FORD MOTOR CO. FINALLY!

A lawsuit was filed today against Ford Motor Company by former Ford Director of Government Affairs, Jay Morgan. You may recall we have been the exclusive source of several stories regarding Jay Morgan, Ford Motor Company, and current Louisville Metro Mayor Greg Fischer. They can be found right here.

While the current lawsuit against Greg Fischer is still ongoing, regarding alleged libel/slander by Fischer that resulted in the termination of Morgan by Ford, a lawsuit Fischer has never consented to deposition or discovery for to date. It must also be mentioned that it appears, at least to me, to be nothing short of political malfeasance or cover up regarding the entire case to date, resulting in Morgan finally taking Ford Motor Company head on as well.

Good for him.

The complaint can be read here.

Ford steals from U.S. Taxpayer

Louisville, KY - Much has been going on lately regarding Ford Motor Company. In a stunning move, Ford announced that they will be moving all small car production to Mexico. This creates many problems and we the people should be demanding answers. Forbes has done an updated article on the bailout money that Ford got and this raises all kinds of interesting questions.

Morgan v. Ford Motor Co. heating up, look out Louisville!

Louisville, KY - We have been the only outlet for well over two years now that have been reporting on the allegations against Ford Motor Company and Mayor Greg Fischer by former Ford employee Jay Morgan. The allegations regard an illegal termination of Jay Morgan by Ford, aided and abetted by our own Mayor Greg Fischer. We have told you and brought to you our evidence as to why we believe it to be so.

Read here for a refresher on some of the previous stories.

Mayor Fischer, Confederate monument, and Ford Motor Company

Louisville, KY - Over the last 48 hours since an injunction was sought by myself against Mayor Fischer over his illegal attempt to remove the Confederate Monument, there have been hundreds of people locally asking for more information and wanting to join us. The more the merrier.
Additionally, thousands right here at home and across the Country have been paying attention to the renegade Mayor and his attempts to play dictator and have been in contact with us as well.

Morgan v. Fischer: Let the games begin!

Louisvillepolitics.com - Judge Mitch Perry has erroneously overruled himself. What else can be said about this latest farce in the Morgan v. Fischer lawsuit. In what can only be considered a laughable malfeasance by Judge Mitch Perry, in my opinion anyway, the Jay Morgan v. Greg Fischer case just got interesting.

IS MAYOR GREG FISHER FORD TOUGH?

Louisville, KY -  Is Mayor Greg Fischer Ford tough? We will see as even more trouble is brewing for Ford Motor Company and one has to wonder exactly if and what kind of deal they may have with our own Mayor Greg Fischer.

As many of you are aware, Ford is under investigation by multiple federal agencies for insider trading and it very well could involve our own Greg Fischer. Fischer, as you know, has been scamming the legal system for almost two years now to cover up his alleged lies that aided and abetted Ford in the illegal firing of Jay Morgan. Fischer and his illegally funded taxpayer County Attorney's office should be investigated by the feds.

And it may happen.

John Yarmuth and Ford insider trading? We need answers

Louisville, KY - As most of you know by now there are multiple federal investigations into Ford Motor Company, Mayor Greg Fischer, and a potential insider trading cover up. It turns out our own Representative John Yarmuth may have some serious explaining to do himself.

Rumors have abounded for awhile now that Yarmuth has helped himself while in Congress and many have questioned his investments in Humana and GE for example. The one question that really never came up until now, was one of whether or not Rep. Yarmuth was involved with Ford.

Ford to feds: Bring it on

Louisville, KY -  As you know I have outlined much in regards to Ford Motor Company, my belief that they have engaged in insider trading, proof that there is a current investigation being undertaken, thanks to my filing of the complaint, and so much more.

The one thing I really have never understood is why Ford would go out of its way to protect a low level executive from being held accountable for insider trading allegations. James T. Young, as we know he was the one who allegedly proudly bragged about buying Ford stock based on insider information. You don't put an entire company at risk over one such person unless the rabbit hole goes deeper.

I believe it may go all the way to the Ford family itself.

Ford/Fischer; How deep does the rabbit hole go?

Louisville, KY - For over a year now I have been investigating Mayor Greg Fischer and Ford Motor Company for what I believe to be collusion in a criminal act against former Ford employee Jay Morgan. You can read all of the stories here. Unfortunately, as usual, the stories just keep coming the more I delve into the research.

Why Ford? Because Greg Fischer said so.....

Louisville, KY - I continue to get inundated with so much email from the Fischer/Ford situation it is mind boggling. You can find the stories that began all of this here and here. I didn't start out looking into Ford, the investigation led to it thanks to Mayor Greg Fischer. To save me many hours of responding, I hope the following will help most of you understand why I delved into Ford in the first place.

Thanks to all who have written, yes even including the haters. The original story on the myth of the auto bailout can be found here.

The most often asked question to me is, "why are you exposing Ford?"

Ford SEC investigation in full swing

LOUISVILLE, KY - The SEC investigation into Ford insider trading is in full swing. Need proof? This is the SEC IP checking out all my Ford stories in addition to the info I have already provided. Believe me there is much more.

Ford's revolving door and the myth of the auto bailout

(Correction: This article has been updated to correct the lobby spending by Quinn. Total lobby spending during the years mentioned includes ALL lobby spending. Quinn is included as part of that total and did not spend up to $3.5 billion on its own.)

Louisville, KY - We have been the only media outlet to date to write extensively on the apparent insider trading cover up, alleged by Jay Morgan against Ford Motor Company, that came to light during discovery on the current lawsuit against Mayor Greg Fischer for libel/slander.

There are still many questions to be asked and answered. The most basic one for Ford is, just how deep does the rabbit hole go?

We are about to find out......

Why is President Obama coming to Louisville?

Louisville, KY - President Obama will be visiting Louisville on Thursday for less than 3 hours in a last minute hastily scheduled event. He will appear at a closed function at inDatus presumably to talk about high tech and worker training concerns. Why inDatus, who really is not a big fish in the data collection pond, nor are they a new company having been in business since at least 1989? Their biggest claim to fame is they were given $1 million in our tax money to move from New Albany to Louisville.

We will delve into the land deal and the other arrangements regarding inDatus later. That deal is quite frankly normal procedure for us and nothing glamorous enough on its own merit to bring the President here. For his part, President Obama has not been in Kentucky since his 2008 Presidential campaign because he quite frankly doesn't care for Kentuckians.

So why a hastily arranged visit to Louisville? Why now?

Morgan v. Fischer: SEC cover up?

Louisville, KY - While we have been the only outlet reporting on the Morgan v. Fischer ongoing lawsuit there are still many questions to be asked and answered but two are simple enough. One, why is Mayor Greg Fischer delaying a simple deposition? Perhaps even more important is, why is Ford Motor Company interjecting itself into a case that they were not a party to?

We have outlined these things in previous articles but we must go deeper.

It starts with insider trading allegations against Ford and a litany of lies by both Ford and Greg Fischer. But how do we know the lies exist?

Fischer/Ford? LOSES appeal: Morgan v. Fischer moves forward

Louisville, KY - In baseball we all know that it is three strikes and you are out. In the criminal defense portion of our justice system it is three strikes and you are out. We as a people accept the three strike rule as a way of life seemingly, but when does it apply to politicians and big business?

Mayor Greg Fischer's latest shenanigans backfired once again in the Morgan v. Fischer lawsuit. The Kentucky Court of Appeals ruled AGAINST Mayor Fischer. Judge Mitch Perry has ruled against Fischer and his frivolous attempts to dismiss the Morgan lawsuit at least twice before and now the Kentucky Appeals Court has as well.

Apparently even Fischer attorney Joel Frockt's relationship with his former partner, current Appeals Court Judge Irv Maze, couldn't get the job done as Maze signed off on the Morgan victory as well which surely was a slap in the face of Fischer who relied on that connection to prevail.

Greg Fischer playing a key role in Ford insider trading cover up?

Louisville, KY - We have been the only outlet to continue covering the Morgan v. Fischer lawsuit that has been continually stalled due to frivolous filings by Mayor Greg Fischer and Ford Motor Company to delay justice.

It is time to ask, is Mayor Greg Fischer playing a role in Ford insider trading cover up? We think it is clear there is a connection.

Morgan v. Fischer lawsuit: Why Ford is worried

Louisville, KY - We have been exclusively covering the lawsuit filed by Jay Morgan against Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer for some time now. We have been trying to figure out why Ford Motor Company has intentionally tried to interject themselves into this case, and why Greg Fischer and Ford are so worried they keep using every play in the book so Fischer does not have to go under oath and be deposed.

In our last article we told you something did not smell right because Ford's Group Vice President of Government Operations  and Community Affairs Ziad Ojakli flew into town for such a meaningless GLI event.

There is a personal history between Ziad Ojakli and Jay Morgan that involves alleged illegal insider trading with Ford executives and Morgan was the whistle blower.

MORGAN V. FISCHER: How worried is Ford?

Louisville, KY - Over the last several weeks the case of Morgan v. Fischer has been allowed to continue forward quietly. While local mainstream media continues to ignore this important story we at Louisville News have not. Our first bit of concern came when Ford Motor Company, who has not been named as a party in this lawsuit, decided to interject themselves in it by arguing for a dismissal of it. Why would Ford try to intervene in a case that they are not even named in?

It becomes a case of David v. Goliath, or in this case Fischer/Ford v. Morgan.

On top of all that Fischer has wasted the court's time and resources, along with Ford Motor Co aiding and abetting in my opinion, to delay the case as long as they could presumably until at least after the most recent elections were over. It worked, however delays are now over thanks to an order by Judge Mitch Perry finally.

Note that in Judge Perry's ruling he points out that this is the second time he has ruled against Fischer because Fischer tried the same set of facts. In short? Waste of his time.

Is Ford working in collusion with Greg Fischer? For me the answer is yes.

Perhaps this link will help you understand why. Of course there is always more. You can also read here for background.

Ford is very concerned and sent in a heavy hitter this week to Louisville to meet with Greg Fischer. Need proof? Here you go.

Ziad S. Ojakli, Group Vice President, Government & Community Relations, Ford Motor Company - See more at: http://www.greaterlouisville.com/NeedToKnow/default.aspx?id=11951&blogid=7771#sthash.9SLwHXkT.dpuf
So why send Ziad S. Ojakli, Ford's Group Vice President of Government and Community Relations to such a meaningless event? An event thrown together during Thanksgiving week to "honor" elected officials? Seriously it is an elected officials Appreciation Dinner.

Ojakli has not been to Louisville previously for any reason that we know of. During the whole workplace training facility program Morgan spearheaded, that Ford supposedly wanted him to do, or for any other reason.

So why now for such a meaningless reason?

Because Ojakli and Ford are scared of what Morgan knows and what Morgan may out. But their fear is of their own doing and here is why.

Ford entered into a non disclosure agreement with Morgan regarding their termination of him and an undisclosed sum was involved. Every agreement like this involves money. Since it is an undisclosed sum and there is a non disclosure agreement does this preclude Ford from speaking with Fischer about the settlement?

Of course it does. There is no way in hell one can seriously believe that Ford had its own attorneys working with Greg Fischer in this case and it has not been discussed. It defies logic. And that is a problem if Ford violated their own agreement. The agreement is null and void at that point and confidentiality no longer applies.

Morgan can say or do whatever he wants in that scenario and Ojakli and Ford know it. When did a private employer ever spend so much time working with elected officials on a former employee matter? Think about it.

There is also no way one can seriously think that Ford, who would typically send a flunkie to a GLI event such as this one, seriously folks, a thrown together event to "honor" elected officials, and expect anyone to rationally believe there isn't something else on the agenda.

Especially during Thanksgiving week which typically is a slow news week and the opinion would be that no one would notice.

Sorry Mayor Fischer. Sorry Ford Motor Company's Ziad S. Ojakli some of us do pay attention.
Ziad S. Ojakli, Group Vice President, Government & Community Relations, Ford Motor Company - See more at: http://www.greaterlouisville.com/NeedToKnow/default.aspx?id=11951&blogid=7771#sthash.9SLwHXkT.dpuf

In our opinion Ford has been in collusion with Greg Fischer and his legal team period.

On a sidenote, the GLI event today is just one more indicator of the fallacy of GLI. An entity that exists to aid business interests is  now honoring elected officials?  Any business associated with GLI should be questioning the loyalty of the people running GLI and collecting their dues.

But taking the obvious aside, for Ford's Ojakli to be here now, after all this time, for such a meaningless event, during Thanksgiving week, and only after Judge Perry's order moving Morgan's case forward, the logical conclusion, for me anyway, is that Ojakli's mission is not to honor elected officials but to speak with one in particular, Greg Fischer face to face, and personally express Ford's concerns over Judge Perry's ruling.

Ford and Fischer are scared and scrambling.

Based on everything that has been uncovered and known, in my opinion they should be.

We did reach out to Mr. Ojakli seeking comment. According to his rep he would be "unavailable." No I didn't expect anything less.

Morgan may not realize it but he may hold the keys to bringing down the Kingdom here in Louisville.

Personally I can't wait.
