JUDY GREEN: THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

It keeps getting better doesn't it? How a train wreck criminal like Judy Green is still in office defies logic. The Courier Journal today ran yet another story against Councilwoman Green concerning the 100 Black Men organization Metro councilwoman Judy Green implicated in rerouting of grant money The Courier-Journal courier-journal.com.

Admittedly I knew this story was coming on Thursday and I could have ran a story that circumvented the CJ and screwed them on the "exclusive." But why do that?

Dan Klepal did good work on this story and should have gotten the credit. While others continue to take credit for "scoops" they did not have, CJ and LEO time to start giving credit where it is due, I am the one who outed the Green's tax liens, lawsuits, and other problems including their foster parenting back in December. All with no credit given by LEO or the CJ. Yep Louisville News was the first to bring about this discussion and the first as well to mention Curtis Reynolds.

Scoops? We had the scoops they try to take credit for. Not much ethical about journalism it would appear either right CJ, LEO, and others? But enough about that. You can do the timeline and verify yourself at this point.

The story today is Judy Green once again being unethical and illegal in her dealings. And what makes it all the more interesting is the way she is reacting. According to Jake over at thevillevoice (see I always give credit where it is due) Judy Green’s Having A Good Time These Days, there was an altercation between Green and Phillip Bailey, formerly of LEO now at WFPL,

"...lost her bananas on Phillip Bailey in the lobby of the radio station this evening. Hollering, clamoring, threatening, calling him scum.

Tons of witnesses.

That’s on top of attacking him on-air for having the audacity to write about her because she’s black (the nerve of Phillip!)… because, you know, the man is keeping her ass down. "

Imagine calling a black man scum for writing a disparaging story about a black elected official.

Green's own actions are color blind regardless of the reporter. It is a story of greed and corruption that is found throughout our history and truly is color blind. The only color in this case that needs to be mentioned is Green. The color of money, not necessarily Judy's last name.

Never mind that Phillip Bailey is an African American as well and going off on him like he was keeping her down should be an insult to the African American community. But look a little deeper if you will.

“It was made clear upfront that some of the money would be redirected … and that (Green's office) would tell us where to redirect it,” Rob Jordan, president of 100 Black Men, said in an interview last week.

The arrangement also was confirmed to the newspaper by Charles Alexander III, who is the treasurer of 100 Black Men and Green's political campaigns.

“We were just trying to expedite the process,” he said.

Rob Jordan President of 100 black men, also African American, and Charles Alexander III, her own political campaign treasurer, made the same statements. How can it be that the African Americans are now the "man" trying to keep her down?

The color of "green" is not exclusive to the African American community. The white community has a long list of those who are illegal and unethical like Judy Green as well. Black or white is not the issue here.

The color green is.

These charges are from leaders in the African American community themselves. Not because Judy is black but because she is misusing the green.

Perhaps Judy Green's own racist attitude is to blame here. I mean it is becoming quite apparent by her actions and words that she is racist, in my opinion anyway. No perhaps we can not allow Judy Green and anyone like her to try and make racism the story in this case.

This case is about greed, corruption, and criminal behavior by an elected official period. It does not matter if Judy Green is white or black. Her OWN actions brought forth these problems and the responsibility is hers and hers alone.

For years there is a history by the Green's of possible theft and it is public record. From the disbarment of her husband, who voluntarily gave up his law license to avoid prosecution for what I have been told is theft charges, to the mismanaging of our tax money, to identity theft and credit card fraud, these choices were Judy Green's alone. It really isn't and never will be a racist black or white thing. It is a Green thing. Period.

Unless of course you want to include Renee Murphy of WHAS11 or Stephan Johnson at FOX41 for giving you the softball interviews without disclosing the fact that you are friends through your church St. Stephen Baptist. Wonder how "schooled" you were by these so called "journalists."

Granting softball interviews to these African American reporters after snubbing the caucasian reporters in Bennett Haeberle of FOX and Joe Arnold of WHAS11 makes one question who the real racist is. No if there is racism here it is on your part Judy Green.

In the meantime for those of you who are interested in "scoops" pay attention. CJ and LEO, among others, are the ones who are following the leader.

I must say, if imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery then these guys are making me a star.....

JUDY GREEN RESIGN IMMEDIATELY

Man oh man who would ever have guessed this Judy Green story would still be going on today. So much has been uncovered and more will be just wait for it. In the meantime I love how stories I unleashed in December are now being claimed as "new" news by others today. It isn't even worth giving them free hits on their sites anymore by outing them.

This one of course refers to the $100,000 forgivable loan that was approved by the Green's but no one has confirmed that they received it yet. I reported on this one in December. Yep another first for Louisville News. Additionally, Judy Green received a subrogation from a lien against her by the feds reported last week on the MyViewMatters Radio Show. That one is being investigated as we speak.

Eddie Woods of the LIFE Institute is the guy accused by Judy Green of mishandling the Green Clean team project even though the LMPD Public Integrity Unit said it was run by Judy and James Green. Woods denies any involvement and I believe him. Much thanks to Mr. Woods who literally lays his life on the line to work with troubled youth and he gets treated like this by Green?

To my knowledge this is the first on air interview with Mr. Woods in this whole ordeal.

We sure are racking them up aren't we? The time is now for mainstream, and others, to start giving credit where it is due. But I digress.

Today once again there is more to add to this Green mess of a story.

Metro Council President Jim King has asked for the Ethics Commission to expand its hearing this month on councilwoman Judy Green and for a city audit review of all Neighborhood Development Fund grants over $5,000 over the past two years. I agree with King. In his role as Metro Council President it is only right that he would seek this avenue. No question. King said he thinks it is important for all allegations against Green to be dealt with as soon as possible.

“It’s important to wrap both up simultaneously … and we shouldn't leave that to chance,” King said in an interview. “My belief is it would be appropriate for the committee to communicate with the Ethics Commission to confirm the complaint has been amended” to include the new allegations.

“If it hasn’t … the committee should take necessary steps to amend the complaint itself.”

We must get rid of Judy Green once and for all and this would help keep other charges from coming up later. Get it out there, deal with it, and move on.

Here is another first I posted on facebook last night on behalf of Louisville News.

According to sources, I am being told that Judy Green's Legislative Aide, Andrea Jackson, has been demoted to a lesser position behind the scenes. Though Green's web page is not reflecting the change I am being told that St. Stephen Baptist has once again come to her aid by installing one of their own staff to work through this thus subrogating Andrea Jackson. I will out the name later today after verification. We are working on that now.

If so it is one more example of the St Stephen gang getting involved in something they should not be. Just how deep does St. Stephen's Kevin Cosby's reach go? We will find out at Louisville News but based on some reports I have been getting it will astound you.


Softball interviews by St. Stephen's chosen ones, and Judy Green friends, Renee Murphy over at WHAS11 and Stephan Johnson at FOX41, to now St. Stephen rumoredly "loaning" one of their staffers to aid Judy Green in her Metro office.

Hmm so much for separation of Church and State huh?

WHAT'S NEXT CAN JUDY GREEN GET AWAY WITH MURDER TOO?

What else can be said about possible felon Metro Councilwoman Judy Green? In my opinion there is no "possible" in this equation but very probable felon Judy Green. Take the latest for example from any media source you want.

What started as me questioning the Green's in December in regards to their financial dealings that included tax evasion, multiple lawsuits, disbarment of her husband, and foster parenting among other things, led to major stories by everyone under the sun including the Courier Journal, WHAS TV, FOX41, and many others. No matter your source one thing has become very clear.

Judy Green needs to go and preferably to a jail cell where many believe she belongs.

Thanks to the CJ we already knew about the shady business she calls the Green Team, and literally thousands in missing money of which she, her kids, and her husband benefited primarily. So much for helping the needy kids in the neighborhood many of which STILL have yet to be paid. This was the easy part.

The startling part was when we started researching and discovered a history of Judy Green and her husband and their financial malfeasance. What would happen to any of us if we were tax evaders and failed to pay taxes for many years? What if we forged an application and a signature for a credit card in someone else's name and ran it up $25,000?

Felony behavior? You bet, so why are Green and her husband exempt from prosecution. Would we average non elected citizens get away with this behavior?

There are many excuses but nowhere can I find any evidence of anyone else with even a sample of this level of illegal wrongful behavior not being in jail or on trial. It blows the mind.

Yet another sitting elected official takes a bribe? Say it isn't so! Accepting a bribe for $600 is a felony.

Green says she worked with LIFE Institutes Eddie Woods on the self titled Green Team and secured $55,000 in OUR tax money for the program. Problem? Eddie Woods said he was told in no uncertain term that GREEN and her husband would run the program and he would not.

Of course the Green's cannot account for almost $30,000 of OUR tax money, paid her own kids more than 10% of that, while other kids were not paid at all even now, and her husband got paid even though he said he was a volunteer. After their investigation concluded, the police said that LIFE institute did not run the program and that Green and her hubby did.

Woods also says his name was forged over a dozen times and maybe more. Hey Eddie give me a call at (502)742-8519 let's get you on MyViewMatters Radio and discuss this.

Judy Green another felony.

Former aide Melody Hill, who resigned after being questioned by police, stated maybe the money shouldn't have been approved basically because there were no checks and balances. Um ya think?

Current aide Andrea Jackson was asked if she knew Green got a credit card in her name without her permission. Her response? YES. When asked if she gave Green permission to do so she said NO. Of course even with her permission Green could not legally forge Jackson's name and get the credit card, but what's one more charge at this point right?

Jackson stated she didn't even know about it until she accidentally found it on Green's desk. Now the card(s) has been used and has a balance of somewhere around $25,000. Want to guess who will pay for that one?

We will I am sure.

Why would I say that? Because Green certainly will not pay for it out of her pocket, I doubt anyone would step up and pay it off for her at this point, and quite honestly I have major doubts that Jackson would pay for it even if it is in her name. I even speculate that she may be complicit in the card scam.

So why would I now question the integrity of Jackson and her claim to not know about this?

Because perhaps there was a deal between Green that they would split the money they got off the cards. I can come up with nothing else. What did Green or someone else promise Jackson in exchange for her loyalty?

The story itself makes no discernible sense at all. Someone illegally steals your identity, gets a credit card, runs it up to the max in the thousands, you know exactly who did it, and you don't press charges?

Jackson showed two cut up credit cards she said were obtained by the Green's and yet when the police suggested she file charges she never has and still works for Green.

I would speculate that leaves a bankruptcy option for Jackson, one can only speculate since it is in her name. Perhaps that is the untold agreement between them who knows. At this point I hope Jackson is getting good legal advice because bankruptcy fraud is a federal offense. IF Jackson chooses this route without charging Green first she will answer to the Feds and not Louisville politics.

By the way has the bank that issued the card(s) been notified of this fraud? I am sure they would love to know and they have the power to prosecute without Louisville's permission. Or the permission of Judy Green or Andrea Jackson. This could be an interesting pursuit indeed.

Why is it that Jackson admitted to police that Green did this illegally without her consent and they do not have cause to arrest her? When I started investigating I had less on Jim King. After investigating he paid the largest fine in Kentucky history with the KREF, and underwent a KSP investigation for well over two years.

Jim King even said it best as quoted in LEO: “I think fiscal responsibility is critical if you’re going to be a council member,” Councilman Jim King, D-10, told The Courier-Journal in a March 2005 interview. “Certainly anyone can make a mistake, but if it’s chronic and they have a history, it’s a significant factor.”

This was in 2005 folks when they were appointing someone to fill the seat.

And Green essentially gets by with just ethics charges today?

Former aide Melody Hill tells the story of Green bragging about her $600 bribe from a liquor store, a story backed by current aide Jackson so now we have corroboration, and yet we have nothing we can charge her for?

Are you kidding me? We have all kinds of stories and convictions across the Nation for politicians accepting bribes and we in Louisville cannot do anything?

We have criminals in jail for less evidence than what we have now on Green.

She has screwed we the taxpayer for over a decade and owes the IRS over $50,000 and is now in charge of our tax money. We see how well that is working right?

Judy Green owes over $350,000 in student loans since the 80's, and they cannot collect as legal recourse is out the window, so we get stuck with that one too. How in the hell do you get that much in debt on student loans without someone stopping the gravy train until you can figure out how to pay for it?

It would seem to me that the feds certainly have enough evidence to come into Louisville and start with Judy Green in the efforts to clean up our politics.

Of course if they do, that would be the tip of the iceberg. The Democratic stronghold cannot afford a serious look into the state of things in Louisville can they? So much would be uncovered so why are they even allowing this train wreck to continue to serve herself as she has clearly shown she is not serving We The People.

Hundreds of thousands of our dollars down the drain by someone who appears to be illegal as hell is pretty much an accepted part of Louisville politics isn't it? Have we not gotten accustomed this type of behavior through the years?

I for one haven't and I never will. Time to clean house and rid ourselves of Judy Green once and for all. I would file criminal charges myself, after all it is MY tax money she is abusing as well, but would it matter?

Time will tell. I may do it anyway but we know County Attorney Mike O'Connell can't handle it, or won't, Commonwealth attorney Dave Stengel wouldn't as he is a Democratic hack in my opinion, and we already know Special Prosecutors through Conway's office stick to what they are told to do all for the sake of the party.

In my experience anyway. One thing is for sure though. I have to agree with Jim King on his 2005 thoughts:

“Certainly anyone can make a mistake, but if it’s chronic and they have a history, it’s a significant factor."

How true it is in hindsight with Judy Green eh?

CASE AGAINST COUNCILWOMAN JUDY GREEN IS HEATING UP

You know I have been covering the Judy Green and what I consider to be her illegal behavior in her self titled "Green team." The Courier Journal's Dan Klepal did a good cover story on the basics and WLKY's Andy Alcock did an excellent interview with Green as well. After following these stories and doing my usual research it appears that Green and her family are very adept at gaming the system for their own gain.

Big charge I know but many questions abound about this situation so let's break some down.

First, according to the CJ article by Klepal Judy Green's relatives got 10 percent of money from jobs program, audit finds courier-journal.com The Courier-Journal makes some questions rise to the surface.

One, according to the article Green's husband James Green received a payment from the program but no one knows how much it was. How in the world can this program run by Judy Green make a payment to her husband and no one knows how much it was for? I call bullshit. Yep strong word but relevant in this case.

Additionally, Klepal outlines that 10% of the total monies went to the family of Judy Green. How and why is that?

Green supposedly has a practice worth almost a million a year Judith Green DDS, Louisville, KY.

Since the program was touted as being for the poor children in her district then how would any of her children or family members qualify?

Of course the argument would be that Judy Green has foster children and they would qualify. Of course that leads to many more questions. First of all according to Green's own bio:

"A native of Henderson, Kentucky, Councilwoman Green has been married to James P. Green for 30 years. She is the proud mother of a very large and successful family, boasting of 2 biological children, and 11 adopted children. In the last two years, Dr. Green and her husband have been the foster parents of approximately twelve (12) teen-age boys."

In this story Green said only eight of her relatives, including children and foster children, were part of the program, as well as her husband, who she said helped supervise it, without pay, when she saw problems.

Yet in the CJ story "Green's husband James Green received a payment from the program but no one knows how much it was." Contradictory? You bet.

The audit also found of the $55,000 of grant money, there was documentation for use of only $26,730 of that money.

The remaining $28,270, according to the audit, did not have sufficient documentation for its use.

I also want to know how can it be that Green has 11 adopted children AND 12 foster kids in addition to her own 2 biological children?

Foster children get placed in homes and the foster parents are paid a minimum of $700 monthly per child for their care. If we look at this in play, is Green collecting $8400 monthly from our tax dollars in addition to her half to one million dollar business?

More importantly how in the world does the housing authority allow so many people to live in a single household. Maybe her relative Kimberly Bunton had something to do with approving that one as well. I really don't know but the whole thing looks very suspicious.

Are the living conditions for these foster children meeting minimum housing standards? How does it affect the foster children. Are they being packed in like sardines for monetary gain for the Green's?

These are serious questions that demand answers.

I also have to ask how in the world does she have time to do anything on the Council? Running a practice that produces $500,000-$1 million a year sure would take some serious hours. Representing District 1 as a Council member takes up so many more.

Who is caring for the children?

Does she only take teenage kids as foster children as her bio states? If so, is it because she leaves them alone to fend for themselves while collecting our tax money for their "care?" This is not what the foster parent program is supposed to be about.

Is this conducive to helping our kids better themselves. Take them away from a broken home only to place them in a home with no boundaries or oversight? I don't have those answers but I do question it.

How many of you work a full time job, and in many cases two jobs, and have time to truly give your kids the attention and care they deserve.

And don't forget the police report stated that Green herself ran her own Green team program which takes many hours more. Of course Green now denies that one as well.

Seems to be a habit of hers to take the money and then deny, deny, deny.

I don't know about you but I am concerned for the kids and the District with leadership like this.

There will be more including the financial histories and why the Green's may be gaming the system. It will include at least 4 different variations of Judy Green's name and businesses.

I will be calling for some serious investigations into the behavior and family life of Councilwoman Judith Green and her husband James.......

THE "GREEN SCHEME TEAM" MOVES ON

We have all heard of the Green "Clean team" by now so let's dub this one the Green "scheme team" shall we?

Apparently Judy Green does not know what goes on in her office as she is too busy working a "full time" job to pay attention. Or at least that was her testimony. Even going so far as to state that every council member prays that their staff knows what they are doing as they cannot oversee what they do. I'm sure they appreciated that analogy by Green at her hearing.

I mean, why do we pay them $42,750 a year then?

Green's new line of defense appears to be to try and make this an "unknowing" violation so the Council cannot proceed to kick her out.

There can be no other explanation for the idiocy and out and out falsehoods that she testified to. At least to me anyway.

According to Green nothing is her fault and all the problems fall on former Legislative aide Melody Hill. Green stated that Hill wrote the grant for the 100 Black Men that is in question and Hill was the one that did not write in that monies were to be redirected by Green's office.


Confused yet? You should have been there. The defense in closing arguments actually tried to make me the bandit. Yep I am not kidding. They stated that Green did nothing wrong and that the only reason she was there was because I was trying to use the press to make this an issue. Yep tis true. Like the press just does my bidding and is at my beck and call.

I laughed out loud even though I was supposed to be on my best behavior.

I didn't have the heart to tell them I am the press. I mean I have this website and a daily radio show that spouts my opinions on anything I find newsworthy so I just have to get more exposure by falsifying charges and calling the mainstream press to follow me around like a puppy dog to suit my ego. LMAO

A more desperate attempt to muddy the facts I have never seen. It was funny watching her Attorney Reid basically implode. Save your money folks if looking for an attorney and look elsewhere IMO. Speaking of attorney's, Earhart was brilliant. He laid it all out very clearly with facts not muddy water.

In February of 2009 the 100 Black Men submitted a request for $1900. That is not in dispute. After February 2009 Green's office told them they were going to inflate the money request to $7500 and the additional monies would be allocated per Green's wishes.

That is illegal folks no matter how you slice it. Green's legal defense team (a team our taxes are paying for) tried to portray Green as someone who honestly made a mistake but it wasn't her fault. Trust her. The problem?

While Green tried to deny any knowledge of the grant being redirected in later testimony she finally said she directed her staff to contact the 100 Black Men to pay some bills from those funds.

Additionally Green tried to act like she did not recall whether she was on the appropriations committee at the time of the request. Seriously? How can you not recall something as basic as that when the whole case revolves around a meeting you were part of as a member of the appropriations committee? How dumb does she think we are? Her whole career is on the line and she can't recall?

If you believe that line I have some great swampland to sell you in the Arizona desert.

Of course when confronted with the record that she indeed was on that committee at the time, well let's just say her memory got better. In fact while arguing all day that Hill was to blame, that same record from the appropriations committee meeting in August of 2009 clearly shows the first item on the agenda at that meeting was the grant to the 100 Black Men organization.

Again great job Mr. Earhart.

Who presented the grant request for approval? Judy Green herself.

Who lobbied for it? Judy Green herself.

As a voting member on the appropriations committee who also voted yes for funding? Judy Green herself.

Who did not tell the committee that part of the money was to be redirected? Judy Green herself.

So if Hill didn't fill out the paperwork correctly, and Green admitted in testimony that as soon as she saw the grant in February she knew that she would use part of that grant money for the organizations who received it after August of 2009. Or that is her testimony anyway to my understanding. So she knew more than 6 months in advance that she would be funding the organizations listed that she directed? Wow.

If she knew that in February, as soon as she saw the grant request per her own testimony, can there be any doubt that she knowingly and intentionally falsified this grant and withheld information from the committee she sat on when seeking approval of it? It is her obligation to divulge this information when she herself presented it. It is NOT the obligation of her former LA Melody Hill.

There can be no "unknowing" as there is now a smoking gun in evidence. Judy Green solicited the 100 Black Men to ask for more money for the sole purpose of spending that money to gain key votes to keep her elected.

West End political activist and "go to guy" Clarence Yancey was paid $2785 for "catering" at a senior citizens home? How many were in attendance? For that price they should have been served fillet Mignon and fresh imported vegetables.

Of course Green stated she would never seek endorsements from Yancey because she didn't need him. After questioning she finally admitted that she was on his voter list of endorsements he puts together every election. Make no mistake about it Yancey is very influential with his list.

Feel free to laugh now folks. I already did. Seriously Judy?

The grant request that Judy Green herself submitted and approved specifically stated that the funds were to be used solely for scholarships for the 100 Black Men organization. She then admits on record that the funds were not used for that purpose.

So much for her staff being responsible, primarily Melody Hill, and not Green herself.

Current appropriations Chair Councilman Dan Johnson even testified that this was not appropriate in his opinion. He also testified that full disclosure should have been made if Green was involved in the process as she clearly is. It is a requirement that Green, who has sat on appropriations twice now for one year appointments, certainly knew.

As a former Councilperson on the appropriations committee Green knew full well that this was wrong and did it anyway.

Unknowing? the only thing unknowing in this case is why exactly 100 Black Men President Rob Jordan did not show up to defend the organization. Why Charles Alexander III did not show up in his role of treasurer with the 100 Black Men, also as treasurer of Judy Green's campaign, though she now says he was treasurer in name only. Yeah right.

Though she may not have control over Jordan or Alexander, can someone please explain just why her legislative assistant Andrea Jackson, whose name appeared on several documents did not show up to testify either?

It would appear that Green is once again playing games to avoid responsibility.

The sad thing is she abused her office and those who need the help the most by using the 100 Black Men organization to try to pull this stunt for her political gain. By all accounts the 100 Black Men organization is a worthy one, so what do you do when you need the $1900 and your council person wants this scam as a condition to obtaining it?

You do what you must for the organization. Did Green tell them this was a legal way of doing tings? If so, then they are not responsible as they followed the advice of the Councilperson responsible for it.

Knowing that Green operated this way for her own gain should be an insult to all who have come before her seeking help from OUR Metro Council.

No this is clearly a knowing violation with a smoking gun to boot.

The only thing unknowing, after hearing Green's deceit in the hearing, is one thing. Exactly what are we paying her for anyway?

Hopefully this ethics commission gets it right and finds her guilty of knowingly and intentionally violating the trust her own constituents placed in her by electing her.

RACISM? REALLY GREEN?

It seems a firestorm of sorts has been started thanks to a Denise Bentley post on facebook urging folks to contact her so they can "send a message" to Judy Green's accuser. Well naturally since I am the accuser I wrote on the post to contact me with any message she (they) may have. I back my charges 100%.

Of course it didn't take long at that point to be attacked for being a racist by Green's daughter Jessica. After pointing out the obvious that I actually do have a record of going after corrupt officials regardless of race (in fact Judy Green is the first African American politician I have charged with anything) then Bentley censors the comments and takes them down presumably to save Jessica Green the embarrassment of being caught playing the race card.

Of course now I am being told there was a meeting that took place involving Green, Bentley, and Mattie Jones that included a few local pastors at the Justice Resource Center to discuss what they can do to Ray Barker and believe it or not Jim King.

Whether true or not based on the whole facebook comment of "sending a message," and knowing how the game is played, I believe there is probably some truth to that meeting. We shall see quickly I am sure.

But with all that said some things must be pointed out. Quite simply by playing the race card herself, Judy Green and her supporters have proven who is the real racist in this whole scheme. I mean how can you justify the things Green has done?

Green is not the first politican to abuse her power, and undoubtedly won't be the last, but never have I seen someone so desperate as to play the race card against her own race in an attempt to get away with it.

Judy Green has tried that card already against those such as Phillip Bailey, a prominent reporter at WFPL who also is African American, Barbara Shanklin, Metro Councilperson for the Newburg District, and once again a prominent African American, all the way down to Ray Barker a retired police officer. Oh yeah African American as well.

The reality is that Green and her ilk have no one to blame for their fallacies but themselves and the race card is the only card they have left to play. Anyone who would say otherwise is in it for themselves not the people.

Not all of us, African Americans or white, buy into the whole race card mentality. No it would seem that those like politician Judy Green and those who benefit personally by playing the race card are the ones at fault here. They forget about the people they supposedly "serve." It is disturbing to see that gamne being played today. We cannot move beyond racism when prominent people in the community continue relying on it as a way for them to gain and maintain control.

How can you explain why so many within the community have turned their backs on Judy Green and Denise Bentley? I get calls everyday these days thanking me for doing this and holding Green accountable. Yep from those in her district and Louisville wide. It doesn't seem the race card is playing well and for that I am grateful.

For a racist I guess I should have never charged Council President Jim King, never challenged the likes of Council members Bob Henderson, Vickie Welch, or Rick Blackwell. All white folk.

Remember the Abramson comments concerning "poorer,blacker, and older?" I was the one who outed that against the former Mayor. Last I saw he was white as well.

There is no excuse for racism at any level or on any side of the equation. Holding political leaders accountable is not only a right we have as American citizens, but an obligation. And that folks defies any color barriers.

Sadly, the race label just won't stick to me nor should it stick with Ray Barker. Barker is a retired police officer, commonly known throughout the community for his "Sir Friendly C" persona as a rapper working with kids to stay away from drugs. White and black. He has proven to be a stalwart citizen in the community. He is a prime example of how each of us can succeed in life regardless of color.

When folks like Judy Green, Jessica Green, or Denise Bentley continue playing that race card they demean the intelligence of ALL of us white or black. And that simply is unacceptable. While that has worked in years past for the political ilk of those like Green, I have faith that most folks today are intent on moving forward not backward in our thinking.

Each of us share in this world and each of us have a duty to respect one another. Regardless of race. I spend my time with those of every creed, color, and nationality each and everyday without forgetting that we are all human. Color does not make us what we are our choices do.

That alone decides our fate so make better choices than to fall for this divisive idiocy that benefits the few at the expense of the many. The facts are simple Judy Green committed an intentional act for her own gain. She abused power for votes. She even admitted at the hearing that only a 501(c)3 could get a grant and admitted that the agencies involved in her scheme were not at the time 501(c)3 entities.

She even admitted there were other ways they could have received funding. Admitted, after initially denying any remembrance, that SHE presented the grant to the appropriations committee that SHE herself sat on. SHE also voted to approve the request never once alerting the committee of her plan to "pass through" the monies illegally to other entities.

* took out a credit card in Assistant's Andrea Jackson' name without her permission running the total up to $25,000,

*Accepted $600 cash from a liquor store owner in her District according to witnesses Andrea Jackson and former aide Melody Hill,

*According to court documents, Green owes $55,411 to the Internal Revenue Service for taxes going back to 1998, $371 to the city for a civil penalty she has failed to pay since 2009, as well as an outstanding $374,896 student loan, stemming from a judgment that goes back to 1989,

*used the Green Clean team as a cash cow to pay her kids,

*illegally ordered a grant recipient (100 Black Men) to ask for more money than needed and redirected those funds to those who would not qualify for them on their own merit as a way to garner votes,

*after blaming aides for the "pass through" monies to the orgs outside of the 100 black men, Green finally admitted that she had directed them to do so after intense questioning to get at the truth,

*public statements by the 100 Black Men President himself, “It was made clear upfront that some of the money would be redirected … and that (Green’s office) would tell us where to redirect it,” Rob Jordan, president of 100 Black Men,

The arrangement also was confirmed to the newspaper by Charles Alexander III, who is the treasurer of 100 Black Men and Green’s political campaigns.

What more can be said about this train wreck called Louisville Metro Council Member Judy Green? Well plenty actually.It seems while Judy has been playing the medical card, with no proof to back up her claims, even going so far as to say she may have to show up at Monday's hearing with an oxygen machine, she has had no problem breathing apparently while boxing up her stuff in her Council office and removing it.

Meanwhile, she has been working behind the scenes trying to get support to keep her district unchanged so she can run for office again later contacting every African American on the Council for support. From what I understand the only one showing that support is Mary Woolridge.

Yep peas in a pod but that is a story for another day.

Additionally, after saying she would never resign the County Attorney's office mysteriously had to issue a ruling saying the Council could continue with the hearings even IF Judy Green resigned.

We call that fishing folks.

Why would O'Connell have to even consider that right now unless something came to his attention from Green or others wanting clarification. None of it matters anyway.

No matter the outcome Green will continue the legal challenges because quite frankly she has nothing left to her. After stating over and over again about all the stuff she knows on everyone she has mysteriously remained quiet about the alleged info.

After being subpoenaed for records she could not produce them.

The plan was to resign late in the game so she would not be impeached and therefore be able to run in 2012 for her seat. Then of course, I told the world on my radio show, MyViewMatters Radio that Green would be out of a job anyway after redistricting because the new district alignment would certainly put her in Cheri Bryant-Hamilton or David Tandy's District thus, for all intents and purposes, ending her Council career as no one would vote against either in favor of Green.

Wonder why redistricting became so important to her when she was supposedly off for medical reasons? Any wonder why she is now reportedly emptying her office? Do we wonder further if anyone has been checking what she is removing?

With her history we do not know and that in itself is alarming. I can't believe no freeze order or anything else has been put in place on removing potential evidence from that office.

Then of course after all this time and Green and her friend Denise Bentley practically begging for support, only 40 people showed up last night to listen to the racist taunts by Green and her followers.

Indications are that 7 were speakers so the number of actual listeners is even lower.

Continuing to use the race card Green, and those few so called Reverends that benefit from her, are still trying to divide the community for their own gain. Thank God no one is listening.

While Green has used racism to attack throughout this ordeal, let's not forget who she is taking it out on. Phillip Bailey prominent reporter for WFPL, Ray Barker, known as Sir Friendly C who filed the original charge against the Green Clean team, and Barbara Shanklin, one of the most well known politicians in Louisville.

Oh yeah all are African American too.

So who exactly is being the racist here Judy Green?

You and your husband are.

On top of all that, as a good faith gesture, I use that term loosely we are paying her after all.

Green should have attended the Metro Council meeting last night. 
We pay for her representation and what does she do? She arranges and attends a "rally" in one more weak effort to keep her job.

One more example of taxpayers being screwed by you.

Um Judy, just exactly what does that boneheaded decision show to any of us taxpayers? You skip what we are paying you to do for your own personal benefit once again? Considering the weak turnout, once again you do not have the support you continue to want to believe you have.

You have never shown any remorse or taken any responsibility whatsoever for your actions and decisions. Hell most people in this community are forgiving by nature. We have had to be because of all the garbage the so called leaders we elect continue to pull.

You have not given anyone a single reason to work towards forgiveness instead deciding to forge ahead and blame everyone but yourself.

So here are a couple of easy questions for you.

Who has been robbing the taxpayers blind Judy Green?

You have.

Louisville Attorney James Green himself lost his law license due to theft charges years ago and perhaps that is where Judy learned the game from. I don't know.

Who has steadfastly declined to do the right thing?

You have.

Who has stated they don't have to pay back over $350,000 in defaulted student loans?

You have.

I could go on but you get the point. This lies squarely on the shoulders of Judy Green and no one else. Don't continue acting like the victim when you yourself are the perpetrator. It is called responsibility. Though you may not know what that word means look it up.

The only color involved here is the color Green. Money. Moolah, and your abuse of our good faith and our wallets.

From my perspective it is the single most reason Judy Green needs to go and not soon enough.

JUDY GREEN STORY RAISING MANY RED FLAGS

There is so much I am uncovering and I still haven't scratched the surface of Councilwoman Judy Green. That is saying something. This is one more part in the ongoing saga of our City Councilwoman. It appears Mrs.? Green uses several aliases when conducting business. I use the question mark after Mrs simply because of one nagging question. Why would a person having been married for 30 years to the same man continue to use multiple names including her maiden one when conducting financial business?

How many of us could do that without raising suspicion?

Ms. Green uses many names including Judith Green, Judith G. Green, Judith E. Greenwell (maiden name) and a couple more variations. Alarmingly no one has done any background checks on Ms. Green or her husband James Green.

After a quick search I found many things that cause concern.

First in the case of James Green there are at least 2 pending lawsuits against him and Judy Green, or Greenwell in at least one of them.

The et al portion of the Goldsmith case includes his wife listed as Judy Greenwell, the Department of Revenue, and Curtis Reynolds.

Apparently Gus Goldsmith, remember that name from the Wayside situation?, loaned the Green's $140,000 that they have apparently defaulted on. The suit involves the Department of Revenue perhaps because of this:

Tax liens folks.

There was an order of sale rendered by the courts November 10, 2010 against the Greens. Was this their personal home or the Perkins property. If they owned the Perkins property then why are they being sued by Perkins?

I am working now on verification but it appears that Goldsmith lent money to the Greens and has a security interest in the old Perkins Chrysler Building at 2105 Dixie Highway which just happens to be the same address that James Green used for Green automotive.

Green was also approved for a $100,000 forgivable loan through Metro but I have not verified if it was ever collected upon or not.

Had enough yet? It gets worse believe me.

By the way does anyone know if Curtis Reynolds is related to Keith Reynolds, mortgage banker for First Commonwealth Bank? That could be interesting considering Keith is the husband of Judge Sadiqa Reynolds.

But I digress.

In the case of the Greens there is also an existing IPL Lien against their home and there have been charges, dropped as of this month, for false alarms stemming from their home.

It would seem based on the available evidence that Councilwoman Judy Green is no longer qualified to be a foster parent as well.

According to the website in regards to foster parent qualifications:

3. What are the qualifications for becoming a foster parent?

An applicants must be at least 21 years old with income sufficient to meet his or her family's needs. Applicants may be married or single and applicants and family members must be in good physical and mental health. Physician statements are required to verify physical and mental health status. Applicants must meet the requirements for housing safety and space, provide at least three references and authorize the release of criminal records to the Department for Community Based Services.........

It would appear that the income sufficient part is lacking at this point and that would not do justice to any foster child put in the home. Additionally, I have been told that James P. Green is no longer allowed to practice law in Ky. I am searching now to determine whether he voluntarily gave up his law license or had it revoked.

If it was revoked it would have to have been for criminal behavior even if it was part of a plea agreement.

These things are important.

IT'S OFFICIAL: JUDY GREEN OUSTED FROM METRO COUNCIL SEAT

Judy Green was ousted from the Council after a unanimous vote

Shortly after 6:30 PM the Metro Court reconvened after deliberating for more than an hour and a half. Their conclusion? Judy Green was ousted from the Council after a unanimous vote on both counts against her. The first by Ray Barker in regards to the Green Clean Team, and the second by yours truly for my charges against her in regards to the 100 Black Men organization.

Citizens of Louisville Metro and Jefferson County, Kentucky... You are welcome.

I don't say that because of some perverse need to self gratify myself. No I say that because this case was absolutely necessary and literally thousands of Louisvillians got to see justice finally being done.

With the conclusion of this portion of the case (and believe me there will be more I am sure) one wonders what we can look forward to now that we have precedent set first by citizen involvement, secondly, the ethics commission, and finally the Metro Council.

Let no one think by a long shot this is over. It has only just begun.



For starters, after Green tried to act like she was some concerned Council member with her stunt last week of resigning, (yes it was a stunt or she could have done it 6 months ago), do not forget. Former Metro Council member Judy Green still has a pending appeal with the ethics commission. Her defense is STILL being paid for by your tax dollars though she stated when she resigned she was doing so in part to save the taxpayer expense. Right.

It will be interesting to see if she tries to appeal the Council Court findings since she would have to pay for that defense out of her own pocket.

As much as we learned during testimony over the last two days we now have even more questions, and potential charges, against some of those involved.

One of which is Charles Alexander, her former campaign treasurer and treasurer of the 100 Black Men or?. The most logical question is who committed perjury under oath?

Was it Melody Hill who testified under oath that Green talked with Alexander and convinced him to do the grant this way, or was it Charles Alexander who claimed he only worked with Hill on this even after admitting he was a friend of Judy's for over 28 years.

Even Rick Blackwell who I am always critical of did not miss that one.

Of course Alexander talked with Green and worked their stories out. Why would he not ask his friend of 28 years if this was ok if he had reservations? To think otherwise defies common sense.

So that is one avenue I will be pursuing. Perjury charges.

Another aspect that raises questions is the testimony of Clarence Yancey. Why is it that every witness was questioned ad nauseum by the Louisville Metro Council Court, and Yancey received a free pass. There are pics of Yancey at events with a Green T shirt on, Yancey distributes flyers with endorsements on it every election, and yet no one dared ask him about any of this.

Overkill?

Perhaps, but Green presented the need for overkill based on her actions over the last several months and this was one avenue to make sure everyone knew how things really work in elections and was a missed opportunity. This could have helped lay out the game for everyone so we don't revisit this later. Many questions on that one for sure.

The best thing about all of this was that we now have a precedent and a path to sunshine. This does not bode well for some other Metro Council members in the future. I can assure you that at least one, perhaps two, Council members will now have charges brought against them and this case sets precedent for the outcome.

This is one more reason why this case needed to move forward as it did.

The Judy Green precedent was a test for the Metro Council, and a test for "We the people". We set the stage for the future accountability we will now demand from Louisville Metro Government.

Judy Green made a mockery of her reign as an elected official and a mockery of the system itself.

She has tried everyting she could to avoid responsibility for her actions, even lying to the people she purported to represent. The folks in District 1 should be ashamed of her, not rallying for her.

The Rev's who decided to get into State affairs from the pulpit should lose their tax exempt status and any other perk they get from the Government. That will give us a true test of separation of church and state, but doubtful it will happen.

For some Council members this was a warning, for others it was the first shot across the bow as now some will be working OT to protect themselves from future charges. Some in the South end need to be very wary of the ongoing investigations that began before this started.

Some will be losing their jobs or resigning for various other reasons, insert excuse here: health, family, etc. The real reson is they don't want to deal with what Green just had to. Judy taught them the value of overestimating their importance.

I am very proud of the way this hearing was conducted openly.

Many props to Councilman Downard for the way he handled this whole thing. What could have become a circus stayed far away from being one. Councilman Downard ran a great 1st Metro Court and set the standard for others who may be in his position to follow.

In the meantime for today, I am very happy with the Council overall for having the fortitude to realize that since Green decided to play this as a publicity stunt we had to move forward with the entire process to ensure we the people knew the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help us God.

Pay close attention Reverend Elliott. You decided to play in this game and assured that the "Supreme Power" is the only one who would judge Judy Green has now done so.

HE did so by proxy through the Metro Council Court.......

METRO ETHICS: WHAT ETHICS BUSINESS AS USUAL BY THESE CLOWNS

At 3:30 today the Metro Ethics Commission is supposed to meet to discuss the ethics charges by Ray "Sir Friendly C" Barker in regards to Councilwoman Judy Green and her self titled Green Team. In this case "Green team" could have lots of meanings such as "hey, I just loaded my family's pockets with your tax dollars." But I digress.

Throughout this site you will see stories of Judy Green and her husband and quite honestly how she is an elected official is beyond me. What makes it even more unbelievable is that Councilwoman Green will now have her case heard behind closed doors.

I have many questions but agree with Jon Fleischaker. Kentucky's open meetings laws are not and cannot be superseded by local ordinance. Period.

Additionally, many red flags come to the forefront.

Remember this story? His wife had a child with another man and Jonathon, assumedly with the help of his well known and influential father attorney Charles Ricketts, played some legal games to keep the biological father away from his child. AFTER his wife Julia spent a lot of time with the biological dad AND his child.

Anything ethical about that mess? Not on the surface.

Second. Attorney Kent Wicker? Is he related to CPA and former House candidate Brooks Wicker? Many rumors abound about Brooks Wicker and his "accounting" practices including trying to rid himself of records by tossing them out his office window. Unverifiable of course but related to me by many sources.

His defense is that Barker lost to Judy Green in the Council race so this is basically sour grapes? Sorry folks the evidence is clear and I don't care who brought about the charges you cannot ignore the evidence. Kudos to Barker for standing up even knowing he would be chastised for it.

It is the right thing to do and here at Louisville News as you know I stand by that mantra as I have risked it all as well.

What happened to the great transparency we were promised? It just does not exist with elected officials is what.

At issue here is $35,000 of which Green's own family members collected roughly $3580 or 10%. Additionally, after an investigation was done by the Public Integrity Unit she couldn't account for $25,270 of the money.

Folks that means that Judy Green basically screwed up $30,000 of $35,000! AND SHE IS IN CHARGE OF OUR TAX MONEY!

No we have serious problems to deal with and the time for the good ole Democrat club in Louisville is over. Time to get serious about cleaning up government and Judy Green needs to go. By continuing down this path of closed door meetings we are telling everyone we simply don't care and that is wrong.

UPDATES: JUDY GREEN ETAL

Seems there may be even more to the Judy Green scandal developing. I have received several calls alluding to a house in Park DuValle that is supposedly owned by Judy in someone else’s name that she is renting out and profiting from. It is being researched now and if proven true could be a serious deal that will involve the feds since Park DuValle received federal funds. If anyone has an address let me know. I am working on that one now. Stay tuned.

It is also being reported to me that some of the kids, that worked on the Green Team that began this mess, still have not been paid while many were paid for one week ($60) though they completed the program and were due additional funds. I have calls out to several parents and am awaiting confirmation on that one as well.

Finally, Curtis Reynolds whom I have been asking about and mentioned in previous posts has an interesting background of his own particularly in regards to who he finances with on his properties. That will be aired later this week. Reynolds as you know lent the Green’s $20,000 and is at the center of allegations that even Judy Green admitted to about using employees to deliver cash to him on occasion.

Currently Reynolds has cash flow problems of his own as several of his properties are now in foreclosure as of 2/28/2011.

Finally, I outed many of the charges relating to Green now last December. The questions I have been asking also involve the welfare of the foster children and adopted ones. Just how much has Judy Green benefitted from them financially?
One thing I did not out was just how the Greens’ benefitted financially from the 11 adopted children Green alludes to having.

Green brags about having 11 adopted children with special needs. While this normally would seem to be a good thing, especially to me since I work with special needs children and have a Godson with special needs, it appears that they may have been adopted for money as well.

What many do not know is that when you adopt a special needs child you receive tax breaks and incentives in many cases. You also receive social security checks for each child as well. This of course adds up to even more money for the Greens’.

So what does all this mean?

It means the Greens' have made one hell of a living off of our tax money. It also means that there are even more red flags to check out. Who knows how deep this story will go, or where it will end, but one thing is for sure. There continue to be more questions than answers in regards to the Greens'.

Metro Council member pays ad bill before taxes

JUDY GREEN CAN PAY FOR RADIO SHOW BUT CAN'T PAY $400,000 OF OUR TAX MONEY BACK...
There is now a new twist to the Judy Green saga one which was predictable but very fishy at best. It appears Green now is in line for a 30 minute radio show at WLOU-AM. No big surprise as this station with their 10 listeners has been trying to help Green all along the way. The real story is why in the world would she do this now?

I love the spin from WFPL's Program director Bill Price who says "Green is paying for the show through her dentistry office, and had been negotiating a deal with the station for the past several months."

And pigs fly.

Seriously?

For starters let's recap a few things. Green cannot pay back her student loans totaling over $370,000. She lied and said she had a letter telling her she did not have to.

In a telephone interview, Stephanie Collins, spokeswoman for U.S. Attorney David Hale’s office, said the federal government is hopeful the IRS will receive payment for the back taxes. The student loan debt, however, could be harder to collect due to a statute of limitations that leaves little legal recourse to recoup the money. http://leoweekly.com/news/it%E2%80%99s-not-easy-being-green

This of course is another lie that involves the U.S. Attorney's office, whether intentional or unknowing, I cannot say. I wouldn't know the level of training in that office. However, according to research on the matter by yours truly there is no statute of limitations on federal student loan paybacks.

Check this one out:

Section 484A(a) of the Higher Education Action provides that no statute of limitations bars enforcement action to collect Federal student loans, including collection by offset, lawsuit, or enforcement on student loan judgments. 20 U.S.C. § 1091a(a).

State law that would otherwise limit these actions is superseded by Federal law and cannot bar collection action.
So much for that theory.

Then of course our tax money is paying for her defense. If she can afford to pay for a radio show, could she not save the taxpayers money and pay for her own defense? It is logical after all right?

Of course not.

Additionally, we must ask why she still owes an IRS lien (again our money) of over $55,000 since 1998, and cannot pay that either.

Of course WLOU's Price has this to say as well, "The show will include Green interviewing guests, discussing local issues and giving out awards to people who are active in the district. However, Price has discouraged the beleaguered lawmaker from discussing her brewing ethics scandal or upcoming removal trial."

Notice everything is District related? This of course is nothing more than an attempt to sway the proceedings before her and get the community to believe she is a stalwart person. I also don't see any language that prevents Green from discussing her case. If she is paying for her own show then WLOU has no way to prevent her from discussing it. Free speech you know?

It isn't going to work. Most of the people within her District, and the community at large, can see a criminal at work. Judy Green is one. Call it my opinion, call it what you will, but the facts of her fallacies are before us.

Want proof? Green, with the aid of Denise Bentley, has been trying to have these In support of Judy Green public happenings and no one shows up. Well except the 10 so called ministers who wouldn't know God or righteousness if HE himself showed up before them.

I have even more questions, big surprise right?

According to WFPL Green is paying for her air time. With what? If she is paying for her air time then we now have conclusive proof she has disposable income to pay back her federal debt (our tax money). Wonder how many kids that would enable to get help for school that are deserving of it?

And Green cares about the kids? Please.

If WLOU is giving her free air time then they are lying as well. Who is paying for the show? It certainly is not her dentistry office. Ask Gus Goldsmith how much dental furniture she has left. Rumors abound about that one.

WLOU has been biased in this case since the beginning. Never was that more clear than 2 weeks ago when they had Ray Barker on air. I was there, though I was barred from even sitting in the studio by DeVon Holt, with Ray as Ray had requested. It was an insult to any intelligent human being how this bias was carried out. Even when the show had run out of time they extended it to take listener phone calls.

Sounds great right? Let the listeners weigh in with their opinions? Only problem was no listener was allowed to. Even though the phone lines were full they only aired one listener.

Guess who miraculously got through first?

Judy Green's disbarred lawyer husband James Green who proceeded to threaten Barker on air. The same guy who got a $100,000 forgivable loan from his wife and the Council. The same guy who faced disbarment for theft. Thank Jerry Abramson for the loan as well.

No the people of District 1 know the truth. They, like myself and the rest of the community, know better than to trust a crook and are ashamed of Green. The majority are anyway. The ones who receive personal benefit from Green's illegal dealings only benefit if she stays in office so their responses are predictable.

Sadly, County Attorney Mike O'Connell, has proven to be inept, corrupt, or just plain dumb, and clealry cannot do his job. In this case Commonwealth Attorney Dave Stengel has proven to be the same. In my opinion anyway. Both of these guys should be under federal investigation. To me anyway.

I wonder what happens when we put other elected officials on the fence. Attorney General Jack Conway, Congressman John Yarmuth, Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul. Since Green has abused our federal tax money they should have a say in this. Ask them a simple question.

Where are they?

Since this involves our tax money and federal funds (student loans) their answers should be interesting....

GREEN STORY CONTINUES: WHAT A MESS!

Wow who would have thought that this story would still be going on! Thanks to Judy Green, and the advice she continues getting from the likes of Denise Bentley I am told, this circus is reaching new heights. Of course anyone with half a brain could have predicted this type of behavior.

Green has been playing the race card almost since the beginning of this months ago but some are actually just now seeing it Charges of racism starting to appear in defense of Councilwoman Judy Green [The Arena] Louisville.com. Better late than never I guess.

Others have been following all along and realized from the onset that Green's only hope is to taint the process and pray for help in the legal system. Even MaDonna Flood gets that much WFPL News King Denies Intimidating Green.

Oh wait headline reads King denies intimidating Green. Say it isn't so!

Phillip Bailey and Thom McAdam have actually written some great pieces here even if Thom is late to the game he makes sense.

The facts are that Green is the one who has tried the intimidation trick and it didn't work. She thought she could play the race card against Barbara Shanklin, Phillip Bailey, and a host of others. It backfired.

She thought she could threaten them and Jim King with supposed info hiding behind the old 2 year old mentality of "they did it too." It backfired.

Now she must go after the person responsible for doing the job of impeaching Green.

The Metro Council president who just happens to be Jim King.

What is so fascinating is that she actually believes this will work. After listening to Bentley lay out the game and lining up a few quacks like Charles Elliot, Denise Bentley, Mattie Jones, and Gracie Lewis she believes she really can get away with this.

Of course having an inept, or corrupt Commonwealth Attorney such as Dave Stengel certainly helps her play this game. After all of the criminal information brought forth during the investigation Green should already be on trial facing years behind bars.

Credit card theft, identity theft, bribery, and the list goes on and on.

Testimony to that effect from her own office personnel. Andrea Jackson, Melody Hill, well you get the gist.

Yet compromised, corrupt, inept, choose any or all of those three, Commonwealth Attorney Dave Stengel decided there was no criminal charges forthcoming.

And before anyone cries Stengel had a "special" prosecutor he still has the obligation. Of course just as easily having Judy Green's daughter work in his office certainly didn't hurt Green either. After her racist comments one wonders how she can still be an attorney working for us when she clearly has a racist slant in her dealings with the public.

I loved the way Green handpicked yet another reporter from mainstream, at WLKY this time, to report the gathering last night at Elliot's place. I would say Reverend Elliot, but there is no Reverend in this equation. Strong words eh?

Well I challenge you to prove what is Christian about this man Elliot. Seriously.

Reports of an underground "gentleman's club," falsely representing a defunct organization, owing at least $16,000 to the City of Louisville for years on a lien, and now saying thievery is acceptable behavior by anyone, including elected leaders. Birds of a feather anyone?

That is the reality of the racist card being played right now against the good people of District 1 and the good citizens of our City at large. The only color involved in this is Green. Not the Councilperson but the color of money. She took it unlawfully in more ways than one and should be held acocuntable as anyone else would. Anyone who listens to hearsay and not look at the facts themselves are the problem.

I ask myself is Elliot himself has actually read all of the investigative report, 500+ pages to be exact, the actual testimony at the hearing, or anything else rather than a newspaper. I also wonder if he would stand as tall for say someone like Rick Blackwell, Bob Henderson, Stuart Benson, or Kelly Downard if they were in this position.

The answer is a clear one and that answer is no. Hey Rev?

Thou shalt not steal is one of the big 10 there.

You should restudy the basics of your bible. Perhaps you should also check out the basics like thou shalt not bear false witness, or thou shalt not covet. If you want to be a man of God then most certainly the onus is upon you to lead by example.

What message are you sending to the chioldren in our community now. Stealing is acceptable as long as you are elected? Do you tell them that during services?

No, instead you choose to try and involve your pulpit in politics and not God.

A religious leader would take the righteous road. You can forgive Green all you want, stand around and sing kumbayah to your heart's content, but it doesn't absolve her of her responsibility. By you involving yourself in the process to manipulate judgement quite frankly is an insult to real religious leaders in any community or any church. It also doesn't absolve you of your responsibility in this situation.

There is someting called penance perhaps you have heard of it during your bible studies?

Of course James Green supposedly has been "quietly" sitting back and now decides to get involved. Why, he even witnessed Jim King's phone call with Judy! He stated it loudly so it must be true!

Hearsay anyone?

Of course James Green, if he listened at all, heard one side of a conversation so how in the hell could he ever testify he heard anything King had to say? Of course we also must listen to the messenger as well right?

Considering Green lost his law license for theft (sound familiar) one would tend to believe his credibility is not trustworthy either. He did take an oath to obey the laws when he was admitted to the bar. So legally speaking he hasn't proven he is trustworthy either.

Face reality folks. Jim King has gotten plenty of negative attention in his own right, primarily from me and my charges against him, so with that said how in the hell could he even begin to make a statement on this case in February before any hearing or evidence was presented?

My charges against Green were not even filed then.

Ray Barker? What in the world can he gain from this. Seriously, if Barker himself, or anyone else, thinks he would get appointed to fill the seat until a new election is held doesn't live in the real world either. Barker is now what most people refer to as damaged goods politically speaking.

No Ray did what he has always done. Stood up for the kids. And he is paying a price for his role in this.His character is under constant attack, his orals and values questioned. And yep even his ethics are under review.

All for standing up to do the right thing. And that is one reason we as a society fail. We punish those who stand up and do the right thing. Even when they are proven right we as a society tend to award the crooks and hurt the righteous.

I could write a book on what it has cost me to stand up for this community. Hell I am damaged goods because I stand up. No one invests in controversy or controversial figures. Such is life. I'm not crying just stating the obvious. I have pretty thick skin but others do not.

Anyone who would believe the lies of "King is behind this" certainly has no clue what they speak of. It simply defies logic.

Read this site and ask yourself how close you think me and King are. Or Ray Barker and King are. Trust me it isn't very. What is telling is that Bentley is involved and has been from the outset.

The same Denise Bentley who hates Jim King and still has not backed up any charges she made prior to her pulling her "book" off the shelf before one copy was ever delivered. This is the same Denise Bentley who is advising her good friend Judy Green. Quite honestly it is the same power game Bentley is known for. It is the biggest reason Denise paid a price for it and no longer wields the power she once had.

Is it any wonder that Green has now switched gears to focus on Jim King in his role as Metro Council President? Credibility anyone?

Lest anyone try again to accuse me of having a personal bias, the public record speaks for itself.

James Green was even granted a $100,000 forgivable loan by Jerry Abramson in March of 2007 to clean up the old Perkins Chrysler building on Dixie.

He never accomplished that so what happened to the money?

While a few like Charles Elliot, Judy Green, James Green, Denise Bentley, Mattie Jones, and Gracie Lewis, continue relying on these ridiculous tactics that divide the community based on lies and misinformation, which allows them to feel like they have some power to stroke their own egos, most of us live in the real world and deal with the reality inherent within.

The reality is that those mentioned above have lied, cheated, stolen, and connived one time to many and it is now time to stand up and accept the consequences.

Cheating, and stealing may be a way of life we became accustomed to over the years with Abramson, and some before him, today the future is looking brighter thanks to this case and more to come.

Character is when one does the right thing when no one is looking. It demands integrity in and of one's self, honesty, and a moral compass to guide you. None of which apply in this case or these people.

METRO's GREEN MEETING THAT WASN'T AND MORE.......

The Green debacle keeps getting funnier. As I reported last time Green has decided rather than face the charges of ethical violations with the public she chooses to play the race card. She even has her own daughter Jessica, who works with the Commonwealth's Attorney office on our tax dime, play the card for her The Greens Continue To Ridiculously Cry Racism
That should be a problem for us all. Someone working on the public dime spewing racism.
And it gets worse. After denying a meeting with some "Pastors" that happened last week then of course a "debate" was scheduled by American Slave, Inc, make of the name what you will, between Ray Barker and Judy Green, neither showed up.

After reportedly being involved in setting this up, or agreeing to appear, thanks to public involvement Green opted not to and says now her husband James will speak for her in the future. As for Barker? He didn't show either. Though he wanted to he listened to advice from others who told him the truth.

This was nothing more than an attempt to divide the community at his expense so the Green camp could claim this was all politics thus dividing the community further rather than own up to her ethical violations. Good move for Ray for not being scammed into it.

At the meeting from reports I have been given, Mattie Jones, we remember her don't we, tried to defend Green against the charges and claimed that every child that participated in the Green Clean team got paid. Of course that didn't sit well as reportedly at least one parent stood up and reported their child was not paid.
After initially ignoring the comment, Jones finally relented and said well mistakes were made and tried to justify Judy Green once again.

Of course there is the usual from wannabe divisionist Mattie Jones "There are certain things we're not satisfied with in the process, and we're here to see if others feel like we feel,"
The process is fine Mattie Jones. Your intent to continue defying logic in favor of slanting for your own gain is not.

Interesting to note that once again the charges themselves are being ignored. Barber even comments:

"Some people feel Mr. Ray Barker threw her under the bus, other people feel it was necessary," said organizer Dereck Barber. "We need to hash those issues out amongst our people, and figure out where we collectively stand."

This is exactly what is wrong with Green and her supporters in the District.
Our people? Those like Barber and Green need a reminder that "our people" are collectively ALL of the tax paying citizens of Louisville that Green represents in addition to her District. The money that she spends is not hers it is OURS.
Last I saw that money came from each of us black and white. Everyone uses it regardless of skin color. And for that reason alone we deserve accountability for our monies spent.

If I give my child a $20 bill to go to the store and get a can of green beans for dinner, would I not expect a receipt and change? I certainly expect an accounting of that money. It really is that simple a concept.

The fact that those such as Judy Green feel entitled to my money without that simple understanding shows the intent of the person regardless of their skin color.

For those like Barber and Jones who continually keep the African American community divided for their over inflated self serving interest and ego should be an insult to ALL of us who demand accountability from our elected leaders regardless of race.

The real insult is the fact that we continue to allow these narrow minded racist individuals a forum to pursue such a narrow agenda such as racism.

It is time to move away from this mindset that holds us back from being what we as a community can be and begin moving forward towards the community most of the good citizens want us to be. A community that embraces all without regard to skin color. A community that demands accountability from each of our elected members towards that endeavor.

That really isn't such a hard concept to get to in the 21st century, is it?
